Hesperides Apartment is located at Theseus Village on the Aphrodite Hills resort. The apartment is light and spacious with loads of balcony space from which you can enjoy the best sunset views in Cyprus! The apartment is set in beautifully landscaped gardens with a communal swimming pool less than a 1 minute walk from the apartment. Allocated parking space and additional guest parking. The apartment is only a 5-10 minute walk to the resort centre.

The space
In Greek mythology the Hesperides were the goddesses who tended a tree in a mystical garden in the far western corner of the world. The fruits of this tree were golden apples which were said to give immortality to anybody who ate them. According to legend the goddesses and their apples are the source of the golden light of sunset. We can't promise you immortality, but we can promise you the best sunset views in Cyprus from the balcony of Hesperides Apartment!!

Layout & Facilities

Living Room - open plan living/dining room with large L shaped sofa, dining table and four chairs. Flat screen TV, DVD player, Bluetooth music player, Wi-Fi router, TV box showing UK digital channels, selection of DVDs, CDs, books and games. Air conditioning unit. Patio doors on to main balcony and hallway with access to the rear balcony.
Kitchen – well equipped with oven/hob/extractor, large larder fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and Tassimo coffee machine.
Bedrooms - master bedroom with double bed, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers. Great sea/sunset views from patio doors opening out on to the main balcony and mountain views from the side. Second bedroom has twin beds and built in wardrobe and there are partial sea and village views. Both bedrooms have air conditioning units and ceiling fans.
Bathrooms - en suite bathroom to master bedroom with large bath with shower, toilet and vanity style sink set on a granite worktop. A shower room is adjacent to bedroom two with walk in shower cubicle, sink and toilet.
Outside - to the rear of the apartment is a balcony with village/mountain views. There is an outdoor sofa and armchairs and this is a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee in the sunshine during the spring and autumn months or to chill out in the shade during those hot summer afternoons. The main balcony is off the living area and faces south/south west. From here you can take in the elevated views towards Paphos and the Secret Valley golf course in the ravine below. There is an outdoor dining table and chairs and plus seating perfectly located for you to enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the sun set. There are also sun loungers and umbrellas if you want to sunbathe and admire the views in peaceful surroundings.
Accessibility - the apartment is on the first floor with a short flight of steps to front door. Allocated parking is in the parking area just outside the apartment with additional guest spaces available.

Theseus Village is one of the developments on the Aphrodite Hills resort. The village has the perfect cliff top location on the Western Plateau of the resort with lovely sea and mountain views. There are 127 properties in total comprising a mixture of two storey apartments, townhouses and villas. Whilst enjoying some of the best views on the resort Theseus Village is conveniently located only a 5-10 minute walk from the main resort centre. The village is set in beautiful gardens with communal swimming pools including separate baby/toddler paddling areas.

The resort is a wonderful development set around the championship standard PGA National Cyprus golf course. There are seven separate “villages” plus individual villas set in the surrounding hills and ravines. You can either drive or walk around the resort to experience the breathtaking views and amazing properties. The hub of the resort is the Village Square which has a number of restaurants, bar, supermarket, coffee shop, ice cream parlour, Kid’s Club and children’s play area. There is also The Retreat Spa, Tennis Academy, Football Academy, Golf Club House and the Aphrodite Hills Sensatori Hotel & Spa.

My husband Kevin and I have owned our beautiful apartment since January 2008 when the first properties were handed over to their new owners at Theseus Village.

Believe it or not it was snowing the day that we got our keys!? Cyprus is the only place in Europe that you can ski in the Troodos mountains in the morning and sunbathe on the beach in the afternoon during the winter months. The good news is that snowy days are a very rare occurrence events along the coast.

Kevin has been involved with Aphrodite Hills since 1999 and played on the golf course on its opening day. We looked at a number of apartments before choosing Hesperides specifically for the awesome views. It is set in a peaceful location on the edge of the resort but is only a short walk to the restaurants/bar and the main Aphrodite Hills facilities.

Our target is to visit three times a year when we love to play golf, meet friends, eat out and kick back from our UK life. The moment the aircraft door opens at Paphos we feel that we are "home".

We love to share our apartment with our family, friends and rental guests who have given us some wonderful feedback and stories from their holidays. It is a great honour that one family has enjoyed their time at Hesperides so much that a fourth holiday has been booked for the apartment in summer 2019!
