Fast wireless Internet, SKY HD and Slim Tv, Queen size bed, good linge, Air-Conditioning split 12.000 Btu's, excellent Laundry service at G floor; amazing swimming-pool, bar, gym, doorman 24 hs and sauna on the building.
Although I do not live on the bulding i always pass on it to talk with my host. I speak French, spanish, english and italian and i m aware about culture options on the city and ready to share it with all of my guests.(I understand German and i can read hiragana and Katakan for japanese travellers )
Few steps to downtown. The best night options are very close as Rio Scenarium and Carioca da (website hidden) 3 minutes you arrive at Santa Teresa, in 12 you get Copacabana by taxi, 20 by bus or Metro( Carioca Station) The very true carioca soul you can find at Lapa and the best building is "Viva Lapa".
We have Garage!
This building usually host oil and gas executives, artists and travellers. It was rebuilt (retrofit) by PDG Realty in 2008, an important company listed in New York stocks.
Nearby you can also visit the best of the Old Rio.
My Stay in Triple A Lapa was amasing, Gustavo was out of town and made surte everything was perfect from my arrival to mu final day. The apartment is as described and the location is perfect. I recomend it to everyone!
I reallllly enjoy stayed at Gustavo's place. great location and love the pool area.. Gustavo is very helpful and quick response!
The apartment was very well located near bars and restaurant. Gustavo was really helpful, I was meeting a friend in Rio so I didn't need his help but he proposed many times. The doorman was very kind too even if the conversation wasn't so easy due to the language barrier. I had a good stay in Rio!
Amazing host and amazing apartment! Gustavo is such a nice person. He helped us out buying tickets for the football match Fluminense - Flamengo and was very kind to help us out with interesting bars, clubs, restaurants and cultural attractions in Rio. Gustavos apartment is perfect for 2-4 people and we really enjoyed that there was a nice fitness room and a pool at the 12th floor. Just amazing! Last but not least LAPA is such an amazing area to stay in. I do recommend this place for everyone who wants to visit rio!
We had a great experience at Gustavo's apartment!
The apartment is located on a street with lots of night life activities, live music, variety of restaurants and bars.
Gustavo was very helpful in many ways. We kept in touch via email and he assisted us to check in his place, which was so easy: way easier than checking in a hotel!
He kindly answered all our questions swiftly (literally within 5 min), which impressed us since he himself was on holiday in another country--Japan (coincidentally, where we came from :)
We spent nine enjoyable days in Gustavo's apartment and even although Gustavo was away in Portugal he was in constant text communication advising us on good shows and restaurants to visit. A very attentive host.
We found the position was exciting and walking around the area at night was entertaining and a host of restaurants to choose from. Supermarket was handy and buses to most tourist areas were very handy, even the Metro station was in easy walking distance.

This apartment was great for my husband and I while we were working in Rio. My husband is from Brazil so he is fluent in Portuguese. For anyone traveling as a tourist with little knowledge of the language or even just someone visiting Rio for the first time, I would suggest you stay in Copa or Ipanema for your first trip. Lapa is much more rough/local/business-oriented/dangerous to be in if you stand out too much (especially at nights). We had no problems but we also avoided speaking English whenever walking the streets at night. During the daytime the area felt a lot like the Financial District/Chinatown in NYC and at night it was abandoned quickly with only 3 or so restaurants open on each street. We loved it and would return here again but this is also our 3rd trip to Rio (my husband's 4th). We were walking distance to where we were working for the week, found great local restaurants (casual and finer dining) and coffee shops including Salsa (traditional Brazilian/black beans!), Bar do Adão (pastel!), Carioca da Gema, Grão Café (gourmet coffees/breakfast/lunch/desserts), Adega do Pimenta (German/extensive beer list), Nova Cappela (traditional Portuguese), Restaurante Esquimo (Brazilian "fast food"/diner for quick lunch) and Santo Scenarium (Nice Brazilian dinner/jazz) and were not here for tourism. We did go to Ipanema one night while here in Lapa and you can get to the beach very easily by subway. The closest subway is about an 8 minute walk and it will take you maybe 35 minutes to go from either the Cinelandia or Carioca stops to Ipanema. I'm used to taking the subway 15-40 minutes from Brooklyn to NYC so for me, it's not that far at all but if you prefer to take cabs, it will start to get expensive quickly.
Gustavo was VERY helpful from the minute we started emailing him, super friendly and took the time to show us around the building when we arrived--there is a gym, a sauna, a rooftop pool and bar that opens daily at 3pm with a churrasco pit for rent (for private parties if you'd like) and there is a TV up there to watch soccer games and have a beer. They also have a living room/event space on the main level with sofas, kitchen, several small tables and chairs and a flat screen TV available for rent.
Our favorite breakfast and coffee place nearby is actually just around the corner but the signage reads: Sushi Bar (trust me the breakfast by the kilo, served Monday-Friday with scrambled eggs, breads, jams, honey, meats and cheeses, juices, fresh sliced fruits and pastries until 10:30am and double macchiatos (R$5) are the reason to eat here--we did not see a single sushi roll on site the three times we ate here).
For business purposes there is a computer lab with printers in the building but we never saw it open or anyone using it while we were there. The wifi in this rental was good and this is a rare thing to find. The A/C worked very well and the shower was always hot :) Gustavo bought us new sheets, new towels and a hair dryer for us to use (which we were very thankful for during the colder days we were here). There is a laundry facility in building where you can drop off laundry to be done either next day or two-day service. We opted for two-day service and got 3 kilograms of laundry washed and folded for R$50 ($25US)--this included two pairs of heavy/dirty jeans. There won't be anyone coming to clean the apartment during your stay so you will need to take out the trash (there's a closet near the elevators on each floor that you leave your trash in). There is a nice kitchen in the apartment with most everything you'll need. We could not find paper coffee filters for the coffee funnels but we usually drink espressos anyway.
We loved this place. We will return and we would recommend for anyone doing local business in the Downtown area or simply wanting to explore a new area of Rio outside the beaches. We were close enough to enjoy the arches of Lapa, Santa Teresa and Botafogo that we only left the area one night during the week to visit Ipanema!
The apartment is the same as the pictures. all the basics are there. the building is really nice and ha a gym, internet cafe and a restaurant at the the top of roof which is nice and helpful. local area at Lapa is actually a cool area full of bars, cafe, restaurant and is the party centre on the weekends. its really easy to get to the beach via metro about 15minutes. overall I enjoyed my stay.
the only thing I would complain about was the bed, i thought it was little uncomfortable.
Gustavo was a nice guy. O never met him but he was in contact.
