Near Badlands National Park and Minute Man Missile Historic Site this beautiful cabin was built by our family on our historic ranch. This is a stand alone property with open great room including living room area, dining area, fully furnished kitchen/laundry. There are three bedrooms, 2 baths, AC, TV, outdoor grill, firepit, and large open front porch for relaxing. It is surrounded by a generous fenced yard. Breakfasts, with 24 hour notice, ($$) are available a mile down the road at the B & B.

The space
Along the 8 mile county road from the highway to our ranch your will drive through vast portions of National Grasslands teeming with wildlife and enjoy open vistas boasting 360 degrees of blue sky. After the second Triangle Ranch sign the road curves down a gentle hill to find this gem of a cabin, tucked in your own private spot under the hill along a winding river where you may hike anywhere you wish.

Cowboy Corner in Interior, SD serves yummy midday specials. 15 minutes south of the Badlands you may cross the White River to experience Native American culture on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. At the west end of the Badlands one should not miss the World-Famous Wall Drug Store, a colorful all-American experience. With rustic western history and art adorning every wall, you may find yourself leaving fitted in a pair of handmade western boots or at least eating a waffle cone piled high with homemade ice cream.

I was born and raised on historic Triangle Ranch here on the plains of South Dakota near Badlands National Park. First and foremost Daddy's cowgirl, I later worked in healthcare and the tourism industry. With the positive experiences and problem solving opportunities of those two careers and my inherited hospitality, in 1996 my husband, Kenny and I embarked on renovation of our historic Sears home and Carriage House . We have offered lodging as Triangle Ranch Bed & Breakfast for these 23 years. When the Cottonwood Prairie Fire took the log house that was my childhood home we rebuilt a lovely cabin there, now offered as Cabin at Triangle Ranch. We are just now embarking into the Airbnb world and welcome guests from around the world to share in the prairie peace of this place.
