The apartment was clean and neat and met our expectations. We were pleased that the building had a keypad entry for security and really enjoyed the close proximity to Times Square and the subway. Since it is located directly across from a major bus terminal and right next to a large building under construction, it was pretty noisy, even in the evenings. However, we weren't in the room much anyway so it wasn't an issue for our stay. Samira was very helpful and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed.
The room was clean and the position was excellent apart from traffic noise. The first few days were very noisy however didn't notice it as much after this. Would stay again but would prefer a room not at the front of the bulding
I spent three days and two nights in Samira's beautiful, modern, clean studio apartment. I hope to return. Check-in was easy, thanks to the fact that Samira lives on the premises, in one of five apartments that were converted from a large 4th-story home on the west side of midtown. I've stayed in many airBnB apartments, and this is the first time I've met a host who lives in the building -- that makes everything better. You can store luggage in her secure hallway before check-in and after check-out. Samira is charming, gracious, and even brought coffee to me when I had to stay in one morning working on the computer. The apartment has a refrigerator and a cabinet stocked with essentials. Great shower. The *most* comfortable bed I've ever found on AirBnB. Go stay in this place. Samira will make you feel at home, respect your privacy, and be quickly available if you need anything.
Samira didn't send us any information about anything at all. I had to chase her for details of how to access the room. During our 7 days there we saw her in total for maybe 10 minutes. She was polite and smiling but had no idea where the supermarket was and gave us no tips or local info.
The bedsit was clean and modern but there were not enough towels, one dinner plate between 2 of us, no teaspoons, no cooking facilities except for a microwave, no dish towels, no bowls.
It was suffocatingly hot and airless in the room and industrial strength earplugs are essential as the room is situated 20 feet or so across from the main NewYork bus terminal and directly next door to a site where a new building is being erected, you can imagine the noise, day and night. The accommodation was not a place to spend time in.
You are like 40 years older than me why would you lie about all these things!!??You said i was your angel!!!
I called airbnb and told them about your review and they saw in our conversation through them that i sent to you all information that you need to know.
First i was sick and every minutes you knocked my door to ask something.
I gave you all things that you asked me and i told you about all my area and grocery, supermakets and laundry which all are next to my building and very visible.
Every thing in place was like advertising and it said that there is no kitchen.
You asked me for 2 big bowls and i gave them to you and all the other things that you asked me.
You Knocked my door at 11pm to see if i can find the english channel on your tv which you've watched a day befor and then you lost it and you didn't know where was that.
Befor you book the place it's very important to read description and all the reviwes and make sure if the place is good for you or even the location.
I just provide 2 big towels and 2 (website hidden) was your problem that you accepted more because i never said that there are so many towels although i gave you 2 another big when you asked me.if you need more towels befor booking ask your host if they provide it or not.
My location is Times Square area and here city never sleep.
Anyway sometimes people can be mean without real reasons.
Loved the apartment, bustling area and host Samira was great.
Samira met me with the key promptly. The room was just as shown in the photos and worked well for the 2 days we were in town. It is a great spot if you want to be in the middle of all the action.
