Experience the special light in Lisbon by staying high in the sky in noble 'Principe Real', one of Lisbon's finest neighborhoods. You will literally have the city at your feet with a view to the Tejo (river Tagus) to kill for. In all, the Lisbon Sky Loft has 7 windows with 7 different views. Mind you, to have this view, you have to walk up 4 floors.
The sunny, fully decorated loft has everything you need to make it your home away from home: air-conditioning/heating, a mobile phone, a fully equipped kitchen etc.**
The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed (1.60 x 2.00) and a walk-in closet en suite. The 2nd bedroom has 2 single bed that can be converted into a king-sized bed (1.80 x 2.00).
For your convenience there is a both a fully equipped bathroom and a 'social toilet' as we say in Portugal, so no queues ;)
Every Saturday there is a farmers' market in nearby Principe Real square where you can shop for organic food, while the neighbourhood is dotted with traditional green grocers, pastry shops and small supermarkets for your daily needs.
From fancy dining to fashionable clothes, from imaginative haircuts to handmade soap, Principe Real has it all. Even the beach is only a short train or ferry/bus ride away, as you are near all modes of public transport (metro (8 mins blue and green lines and 9 mins yellow line), tram (tram 28, 4 mins), bus (neighbourhood bus 2 mins, city network buses 5 mins), train and ferry (Cais de Sodré, 10 minutes). The taxi stand is a 5 minute walk, or you can stop a taxi in the street.
There are many galleries, museums, and 'miradouros' (= picturesque viewpoints) around. For example there is the miradouro the São Pedro de Alcântara up the road (7 minute walk) and the Adamastor with the Noobai café down the road, a 7 minute walk away.
Upon arrival you will find the kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, drinks, cheese, butter, bread, fruit etc. for your first breakfast.
For a longer stay, the rate is different. A cleaning service can be arranged.
If you wish to stay for less than 5 nights, we can discuss it.
The main thing is that we do our utmost for you to have a memorable stay in Lisbon!
**Amenities among other things: washing machine, dish-washing machine, oven, fridge with freezer, stick blender, toaster, citrus juicer, water cooker, wide-screen TV, DVD/CD player, cable TV, wireless internet, hair dryer, linen, towels, iron, air-conditioning/heating, mobile phone - the works.
The guest has access to all information on Lisbon in my head as a host.
Interaction with Guests
Upon arrival I show the guests around the loft and tell them the ins and outs. If so desired, I give them tips where to procure food locally and what are great places for having a drink, strolling, and eating.
I live around the corner and love my neighbourhood because it has a lot of quaint little corners to be discovered, many shops and is well endowed in the public transport department.
Most of all: many things are at walking distance.
If a guest comes by car, there is a public parking around the corner for the reasonable fee of €12.40 per 24 hours.
Guests are expected to treat the loft as if it were their own.
No smoking is allowed inside the loft.
We just hope you will truly and fully enjoy your stay.
I totally fell in love with the appartment! It's situated in a perfect location (very near to lively Bairro Alto, where you have all the nice bars and arty stuff) but is in a very quiet and nice living area. Everything is in walking disance. You have a very nice view, since it is the highest building in this area. Go there and you won't regret. Plus: yve is a very warm hearted and open minded host. She will answer all your questions and give you good tips for daytrips.
We had a great stay at yve's wonderful loft for almost 1 week. The apartment looks exactly the same as on the pics. We really liked all the nice details in this fully equiped apartment - but the best thing is the amazing view over the trejo. It was overwhelming. For anybody who want to vsisit lisbon i can recommend 100% this loft.
Yve as the host was very polite, helpful and willing to show us some of the nicest insider hot spots in lisbon. We really preciaded that. Thanks for this nice time - see you soon
We had the best holiday ever in Yve's wonderful apartment! The view was amazing and even better than photos: there was no need for a balcony as you could just open the big windows and enjoy beautiful Lisbon. The apartment was very clean, well-equipped and wi-fi worked without problems which was something our teenager especially appreciated :) Yve was a lovely host and had prepared the best lasagna we have ever tasted – our kids loved it too and they would like to have a receipe so that we could learn to make ”Yve's special lasagna”. When we'll visit Lisbon next time, we know where we'll be staying. Thanks Yve!
Beautiful and tasteful apartment in great location.
Ive met us there when we arrived and showed us everything and gave us some great advices. She's really cool and a helpful host. We would definitely recommend this apartment as a great place to stay Lisbon.
This place was home for five weeks. My
husband and I absolutely enjoyed it. The flat is well laid out; it's also in a fantastic location. It's clear that Yve has taken great pains to ensure all the smallest details are taken care of, from window coverings to the kitchen utensils, from the mobile phone to the beach towels. Also, my friend accidentally damaged some items, and Yve was very professional and reasonable in how she handled the situation. We really appreciated it. If we're ever back in Lisbon, we definitely know where we'll be staying!

a fun retro place, with an excellent beer collection.

saturday farmers' market, and every 3rd saturday of the month an antiques market as well.
Could pass as a museum of sorts. The menu is actually a book so don't be intimidated. Awesome atmosphere and comfortable chairs. Place is a little spendy but well worth it.
Bookshop: English books.
a total must, as it is a spectacular place around the corner. the ambiance is like a hanging garden. the drinks are great and the music is often live.
A bit noisy but good Portuguese standard restaurant.
Upgraded neighborhood restaurant. Good home-cooked food.
This is a very simple place with an outstanding view towards the river. Get a sandwich or a salad for lunch or in the evening to relax. Just enjoy the sunset.

fantastic organic beef hamburgers. the wasabi and seaweed and the diavolo (super spicy) are favourites!
Family run, this tiny restaurant (just seven tables). A place to hear raw original Fado, so remember: no lights, no PA, just the singers, the guitars the candles and your tears.
