Nice and fairly centrally located apartment with easy access to both bus and trains. I have always been able to accommodate the arrival time of my guests as I have friends that have been able to meet them if I am working. Therefore, there is a high likelihood that I would be able to accommodate all "out of hours" arrival times (in addition to ones during the day) in the future. Public transport can be taken directly from the airport to right across the street from my apartment. If you are arriving at the airport you can catch the metro from inside the airport (it's faster than a cab). You'll have the whole apartment to yourself which includes a large bathroom and balcony. The bedroom is located away from the street and right above a supermarket, so you won't have to worry about street noise keeping you awake or noise coming from below. Smoking is only allowed on the balcony.
The apartment comfortably sleeps 4 if I compare to average hotel standards. However, I have extra comfortable mattresses in storage and more guests are welcome to stay if they don't mind sleeping on one of these mattresses. There is enough room on the floor for 2 extra mattresses: one extra double mattress and 1 extra single one-so in total room for 7. I also just bought a crib with a mattress that I've put in the storage room. If you would like to use this please let me know before you arrive so I can bring it upstairs.
Included in price:
Use of dishes and silverware
Clean bed linen and towels
Free use of washing machine and dryer (2 loads if renting short-term)
Tourist guides and maps of Copenhagen
Parking (I can't guarantee that parking will be available, but whenever I've looked there are open spots. I can lend you a parking pass which gives you access to all the spaces allocated to my building.) The parking spaces are directly behind my building. They extend around the whole courtyard. Let me know at the time of booking if you would like to lend one. I don't keep them in the apartment (as they tend to go missing quickly) but I will lend it to guests if I know directly whom I am lending it to.
I will provide an electronic chip to loan so that guests can use the washing machine and/or dryer for free for 2 loads of washing. If they would like to wash more they can let me know in advance and pay a small fee. The washing machines are in the basement and are shared with the other tenants. There is no pre-booking and the machines can be used 24 hrs. Whenever I've gone to use them there are machines available so I doubt you would have to wait in line to use one.
I have a lockable storage room which I am not using in the basement that should be available most days (please check with me first though before arrival). This is convenient for those guests who have a late flight and need somewhere to store their bags from check out until evening. It could also be possible to store them for a longer period of time.
There are a lot of nice cafes and restaurants in my area. My favorite cafe is KaffeKilden just a few doors down on Tagensvej. They have the best cheescake.
The hospital is a few minutes away (which hopefully you won't have to visit) along with one of my favorite attractions in Copenhagen: Statens Museum for Kunst (The National Gallery of Denmark). Admission to most of this museum is free.
Public transportation is just across the street and one bus stop around the corner and another across the busy intersection. Bike paths are excellent and if you are loaning my bikes or renting your own, they are my favorite way to get around Copenhagen. It's considered the 2nd most bike friendly in Europe (Amsterdam is first).
Other Things to Note
Note: If you doing an automatic booking for the very same night and have given me short notice of your arrival time, you may need to come to me to pick up the keys or get them from a friend of mine in order to receive them by your desired time.
Refrain from loud noise between 10 PM and 10 AM so you don't disturb neighbors.
Leave the apartment as clean as you found it. Take off your shoes when you come in so that the floors and rug stay clean.
If you smoke, only do so on the balcony.
Notify me before booking if you want to bring your pet so we can discuss particulars.
If you don't specify a check-in time and only write what time you'll be at Kastrup (Copenhagen) airport or Central station Copenhagen then I'll assume that you'll be at my apartment within 40 minutes of that time. There's no guarantee that I will be able to wait more than 30 minutes after the 2 PM check-in time (or another time if we have agreed on another time or if you have just written your arrival time at the airport or Central station). If I don't have somewhere I need to be and I can wait it's 100 dkk (Danish krone) per hour for each hour you're late.
Everything was like in description and photos. Sharon wasn't there, but there was another kind girl instead. The area is well connected with all CPH. Nice apartment with a low price.
The apartment was well situated and comfortable. The only negative was the Internet went out and we couldn't get it back up.
I contacted Neri as soon as I got his message regarding the internet at the email he provided and also by text message to arrange to fix it. I didn't hear back from him (so didn't want to go into the apartment without his permission). I contacted the internet company later to see if they had an explanation and was told it was used up due to unusually high data usage the day he arrived. So it was likely lots of downloads and/or streaming from his group that used it up.
Appartement confortable et spacieux, proche du bus et des commerces. L'accueil est chaleureux et l'hôte sait s'adapter en fonction de l'heure d'arrivée.
Good location with easy access to the city center by public transport. Sharon provided clear instruction how to get to the apartment. Instant confirmation of reservation is also very good. On the ground floor there is a supermarket which open till 10 pm. While the building is situated on a big street the window of the bedroom opens to the opposite side which is perfectly quiet. The apartment is suitable for 4 people for a short staying and quite comfortable for 3 people for more long living. For us it was unusual to have shower on the entrance of the bathroom so we need to pass through it to access the toilet and the sink but it's not a problem. Taking into account the fact that lot of old houses in Copenhagen equipped with shared bathroom it is real advantage to have private bathroom. After using the shower it is necessary to wipe the remaining water by special wiper (like in a shower in a cabin of Scandinavian cruise ship).
The kitchen is well equipped and we found all we need for cooking. The wifi was fast and the connection was stable.
Although the apartment was quite clean, there were corners and pieces, which to our liking could have been a little bit cleaner to make us feel ultimately comfortable.
Although sharon was not in Copenhagen, her friend welcomed us warmly. When we asked her questions, she answered quickly. Her apartment was clean. There was everything we needed.
We had a really nice stay. The apartment was as described, conveniently located near the center and university, with a bus stop just in front and a really nice coffee place for the morning just nearby. The apartment, kitchen side, was a little bit noisy (street side) but the room was quite. We would like to thanks more particularly the person who is working with the owner, who helped us with the apartment but also for driving us around, giving us precious advice and being so kind. It made all the difference so thank you!

I grew up in America (northern IL) and lived some years in Ireland and Sweden. I speak English, Swedish, French, and can understand Danish. I love to travel and I'm currently looking forward to exploring more of the South Pacific when I get time off from studies and work.
