Host: Rosarie gave us a very warm welcome. She made sure we were comfortable and offered us tea/coffee multiple times. Even called the restaurant to book a table. We felt very welcomed and totally at home.
Location: Perfect. Though we didn't get to enjoy the view much because we arrived very late and the weather was bad, we saw next day that it is a fantastic location for anything you want to do. Atlantic is right in front and the location is very west-cork like :)
Room: perfect. We couldn't have asked for more. Clean, comfortable and without any kind of noise.
we will be planning a longer stay the next time we are around.
Thanks Rosarie for your hospitality and we look forward to meeting you again.
We loved staying with Rosarie at Formanes B&B. The bedroom was nice and large, beds comfortable (especially with the hot water bottles that Rosarie had provided). Rosarie's breakfast was also delicious, with lots of choice from freshly baked scones, a variety of fruit to a full Irosh breakfast!
As a local from Dursey Island, Rosarie had loads of useful advice and information about nearby things to do and see and where to eat (really helpful for us given we didn't know that the nearby village of Eyeries is completely closed except on weekends during the Winter!), and even went to the trouble of checking the ferry schedules for our journey to Bere Island the next day!
We would love to stay again!
Greeted with a a cup of tea and a very warm welcome, Rosarie and Batt were fantastic hosts. Warm and clean B&B, very close to the village and perfect for exploring the Beara peninsula. Quiet and relaxing, perfect for a weekend escape.
Rosarie was welcoming, offering tea on arrival and in the afternoons. Breakfast was excellent, fresh eggs!!Yum. The B and B is situated close to town and many hikes along the ocean and hills.
The reservation was canceled 3 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We received a warm welcome. We arrived pretty late on the evening and Rosarie was so kind to offer us some scones. The breakfast was good and traditional. We recommend this place.
