Interaction with Guests
I will interact with guests as much as you like- if you would like me to assist you in your travels I'd be very happy to or if you prefer privacy that's fine by me too.
I love my neighbourhood- it has a good mix of people from all walks of life but the architecture dates back to the Georgian period. There is plenty of history around here but also some good pubs and restaurants. Being so close to the city means we have all the options. We are also in walking distance to the sea at Clontarf. We have a great community spirit with our garden and other events organised locally.
There is an excellent bus service at the top of our road with buses that go to the city, across the city or in the other direction to the seaside villages of Howth, Portmarnock and Malahide. We are a short taxi or bus ride from the airport and are a short walk to the main train and bus stations as well as the commuter train and tram stops.
Usual house rules apply, respect for noise which applies both ways. We have no issues with pets. If you smoke there is a yard outside where you can smoke.
Nous n'avons malheureusement pas rencontré Fionnuala. Le logement est bien placé pour visiter Dublin. Nous y sommes allés à pied les 2 jours, mais nous aurions pu prendre le bus. La pizzeria à proximité est excellente.
Fionnula made us feel welcome from the start of our stay. All communication prior to arriving was clear and helpful. When we arrived she was there to set us up and give us some great advice about getting around Dublin. It was lovely to receive some breakfast food, staples and even some treats. The space was clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. It was a short (15 min) walk into town and because of the beautiful summer weather we didn't need the bus, although we did get taxis home later in the night.
We stayed here for one night before our flight out of Dublin. Fionnula was very nice and offered to drive us to the bus stop which was much appreciated.
Great experience with Finnoula! She a warm and helpful host, very good communication all along. A apartment was perfect for the 3 of us!
Fionnuala was extremely welcoming and helpful, very friendly. We were greeted and shown straight to the apartment and shown around as well as being given plenty of useful advice and information to help us enjoy our trip and recommendations of places to go! The neighbourhood was fine, neighbours all seemed to talk to each other. She even gave us a lift to the bus stop!
Fionnuala was very welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. I was only there for the night and left early in the morning but she was very understanding about scheduling.
