The space
This charming ski view, sunset view, and star view cabin has 2 levels, 3 bedrooms, and 1 full bathroom. Split unit AC added to main bedroom upstairs and living room /kitchen. Milo Bear Cabin features include a classic potbelly stove, hot tub, air conditioning, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and breathtaking views of both Snow Summit & Bear Mountain double diamond ski slope from 700 sq. ft. wraparound deck! The kitchen is fully stocked and our professional cleaning crew provides all bedding & linens.
This gorgeous cabin is the perfect getaway for family, friends, & pets! Please note that Milo Bear Cabin has a 2 dog maximum.

* OCCUPANCY: Big Bear Lake local ordinance 99.300 limits maximum occupancy to 5 people and 3 cars. Please note that children, toddlers, and infants all count as guests. Please do not book or arrive with more than the maximum or you could be fined by the city and evicted with no money back.

* LOCATION: Milo Bear Cabin is in the Lower Moonridge neighborhood of Big Bear and conveniently located less than 5 minutes from most activities such as hiking, golfing, skiing, biking, swimming, the zoo, and more. This charming retreat is a quick 8 minute drive to Big Bear Village downtown shops and restaurants as well as the lake.

* LIVING ROOM: The downstairs living room has beautiful mountain views, a new air conditioning unit, wood floor, and cozy sitting area next to potbelly wood burning stove. There is a 42” Smart TV has Roku with Netflix & Playstation 2. For your convenience, a firewood supplier lives next door!

* KITCHEN: The downstairs kitchen is fully stocked with a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, gas appliances, and island. Cookware, silverware, glasses, and plates are provided as well as staple items like spices, sugar, coffee filters, and cleaning items.

* DINING AREA: Downstairs rustic dining area adjacent to Kitchen & Living Room with authentic handmade wood dining table for 6, wood floor, & breathtaking views of Snow Summit ski resort.

* BEDROOM #1: Downstairs rustic bedroom with a cozy new queen Serta mattress, wood floor, clothing rack with shelves, & beautiful views of Snow Summit ski resort.

* BATHROOM: Downstairs full bathroom with new tile floor, bathtub, & shower with dual handheld showerhead (great for taller guests!). Some complimentary toiletries are provided for your convenience (shampoo, body wash, hand soap, etc.).

* LAUNDRY: Downstairs laundry area has a stacked washer & dryer.

* BEDROOM #2: Upstairs master bedroom has a California king bed with hypoallergenic luxury bedding, custom log headboard, & rustic wood ceiling beams. It has a dresser, air conditioning unit, closet, new etched wood flooring, & grand mountain views.

* BEDROOM #3: Upstairs “Bunk Bed Room” with twin over twin bunk beds (maximum weight 185 lbs. each), Xbox 360 with assorted games, new etched wood flooring, & hidden bonus space for a pillow fort behind the beds!

* PATIO: Fully-enclosed & pet-friendly 700 sq. ft. wraparound deck has a gas grill, outdoor dining table, & hot tub. Perfect for sunsets, stargazing, and gorgeous views of Snow Summit & Bear Mountain! $60,000 upgraded private parking pad fits 4 cars.

* AMENITIES: This charming & pet-friendly cabin has new central heat with vents in each room, 2 grills (1 regular & 1 vegan by request), a tankless water heater, rustic decor, and a new portable upstairs & downstairs air conditioning units added June 2019. The kitchen closet & living room coffee table are also stocked with board games & puzzles.

Milo Bear Cabin has 4 beds total & sleeps 6 guests: 1 California King, 1 Queens, & 2 Twins.

* 1 Queen: Bedroom #1 (downstairs).

* 1 California King: Bedroom #2 (upstairs).

* 2 Twins (1 Bunk Bed): Bedroom #3 (upstairs). Maximum weight 185 lbs. per bunk bed.

*** Peak Season is Thanksgiving to March 1st. Due to our hectic schedule during these winter months, the Check-Out time is 10 am, and the Check-In time is 4 pm. Unfortunately, early Check-In and late Check-Out times are not available during Peak Season, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

For your safety and protection, there is an exterior Ring camera on the front deck facing the driveway recording on motion. We also have a Minut decibel meter outside on the back deck. Minut is 100% privacy compliant and can not record conversations. Minut only reports noise levels so we have proof in case a neighbor or Big Bear code enforcement makes a complaint.

Guest access
A great walkable neighborhood full of beautiful cabins and tall trees with ski mountain views as you walk around. Very low traffic (Maybe a car per hour goes by the cabin.)

Neighborhood highlights

Moonridge is one of the nicest neighborhoods in Big Bear. Close to everything including Bear Mountain, Snow Summit and only 5 minutes from the lake. my cabin is above other homes so it's more private and surrounded by beautiful homes that are a combination of rentals and permanent residents. So it's less party and more of a quiet getaway.
