The space
Home features a sunny open space with vaulted wooden ceilings with A/C throughout. If you prefer the open air, Casa Corona has wonderful ocean breezes to enjoy by opening the screened louvered windows throughout the space. There are views of the ocean from multiple windows.

-Kitchen: Located on south side, includes stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher and gas range, a coffee bean grinder, coffee and espresso machine, fully stocked kitchen with pots/pans for cooking/baking, Ninja blender for frozen drink making,l, plenty of plastic storage containers, premium acrylic wine and martini glasses, bar set for mixed drinks, dishes including place setting for 8, with linen napkins, seagrass chargers and napkin rings, and plenty of candles for ambience. Also includes an eat-at bar with two Pottery Barn seagrass bar stools. A closet door in the kitchen leads to a stacked large-capacity washer-dryer, for your convenience.
Living Room: Located on north side of house with views of the ocean through doors to the pool deck and west facing windows. Includes large, comfortable sectional sofa on soft floor rug, seagrass chair and ottoman, LG smart TV with complimentary access to local channels, Netflix, Amazon Video, Pandora and Spotify - and a soundbar/bass that's bluetooth compatible. Plenty of lamps throughout to set the lighting to your preference. Assortment of games, puzzles and a few books and magazines. A large 36K BTU air conditioner cools the entire common area.
Entry Closet: Located beside entry door and includes canvas bags for groceries/shopping, four backpack-style beach chairs and two beach umbrellas with ground drills. You'll also find the first aid kit there.
Master Bedroom: Located ocean side (north) with doors leading to the pool deck, the master bedroom includes a king size bed with luxury sheets and summer weight comforter on a luxurious king memory foam mattress. The room has a 12K BTU air conditioner, large armoire with hanging and shelf storage for clothes, 2 night stands with drawer storage, pedestal fan and luggage rack. A beach bag with beach towels hangs on the back of the door. The master also has direct access to the bathroom.
Bathroom: The bathroom can be accessed via doors in the living room or the master bedroom. The newly remodeled bathroom includes a solid concrete vanity with vessel sink, and a spacious and tall rain shower. The bathroom is stocked with luxurious Turkish cotton linens, premium amenities (soap, shampoo) and a hair dryer.
Guest Room: Located on north side of house adjacent to the kitchen, the guest room includes a queen bed with handmade louvered headboard, luxury sheets and summer weight comforter on a memory foam mattress. The room also includes a 9K BTU air conditioner, a chest of drawers and 2 night stands with plenty of storage, a pedestal fan and luggage rack. A beach bag with beach towels hangs on back of door.
Pool deck. The pool deck includes access to a plunge pool and an outdoor shower, with a wall that provides privacy from neighbors on the east side of the house. The deck's west side faces an open horse meadow that leads to the ocean (160-degree ocean view). A dining table with 4 fast-drying, padded resin wicker chairs and propane grill are available for alfresco cooking and dining. (Note: pictures of home were taken before railing was installed on pool deck. Railing is now present.)
Other: For your safety (and the security of our home when it's empty), Casa Corona is protected by a video surveillance system that monitors the perimeter of the property (no video surveillance is present in guest areas, including the pool deck). This is only a precaution, as Vieques is a safe island with very little crime/theft. Additionally, multiple security lights/flashlights are in outlets throughout the house in the rare event that a power outage occurs. Should a power outage be extended, Casa Corona is equipped with a whole house generator, which can be activated by our house manager.
Guest access
Guests of Casa Corona will be the sole users of the entire gated and fenced property.
Location: Casa Corona is located in Barrio Martineau on Carretera 200. If heading east from the airport, the house is located on the left just past the former W Resort.

FERRY DETAILS
The new online ferry booking is at PORFERRY online. Beware as ferry schedule is not currently dependable (sometimes is full, sometimes is out of service). We anticipate this to improve in upcoming months as it's becoming privatized. Ferry runs from Ceiba, Puerto Rico, which is located about 45 minutes from San Juan, and is about $5/person each way. ALWAYS BUY TICKETS IN ADVANCE, but beware that local residents get priority if the ferry is full.
