About this listing
Quiet room in a quiet area, shared bath, plenty of space. This place has roommates, pets, grill and large outdoor fire pit.
Quiet location, very close to Cheyenne. Pets welcome, horses ok as well. The house sits on five acres so there is plenty of space to roam. There is a grill for cooking out, and plenty of parking.
Wireless Internet, Netflix, DVDs, grill, refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster, oven, cook top, plus more.
The neighborhood is quiet with lots of space between the houses. My Favorite steak house is the Wyoming Rib and Chophouse located on Lincolnway, favorite breakfast place is R&B Breakfast Club also located on Lincolnway. A dog park is located on the same road as my house.
Not much for public transportation except taxis, which are priced fair.
Other Things to Note
I have two well behaved, energetic dogs which I treat like humans. I usually have friends and family coming and going, but not late.
Let's just be adults
We had so much fun staying at johns house. They were so welcoming and even offered us dinner. We already have made plans to return in the near future. Would definitely recommend staying here not only for a place to stay but great company. They showed us an awesome time in Cheyenne!!!
The room is really great and very confortable, it was just perfect after 10 h driving. John was very welcoming, He showed me right away all the most beautiful roads I could take to continue my road trip (Happy Jack road is wonderful by the way :) ).
For the price, a good place to crash. Near the highway and quiet, next to a lot of country. It's still undergoing renovations so it should get better and better.
I arrived in Cheyenne late Monday evening and planned on camping out, but Mother Nature decided to throw some rain in the mix and altered my plans. Hotel rooms were ridiculously high, so I contacted John at the last minute, and he replied quickly and luckily the room was available. I arrived soon after, and John met me at the door with his dogs, immediately welcoming me into his home. John gave me a lot of info about the area, and I enjoyed hanging out and talking with him most of the evening.
The room was very clean along with the towels provided. There is a pretty awesome fire pit out back that I didn't get to experience thanks to the weather. John and his roommates seem like they would be really fun to hang out with around the fire.
We had a great experience. We arrived late at night and John graciously stayed up to show us around the house and property. The bedroom was comfortable. The bathroom was great. It had all the necessities. John has nicely renovated his upstairs amidst his busy work schedule and is currently working on the first floor.
The customer service couldn't be beat. John was super friendly.
John and his roommate also recommended places to eat and sights to see, and they were all awesome.
I'm so glad I booked a night at John's house. It is far better than staying in a hotel/motel and it's a fraction of the cost.
John was a great host. He was very welcoming and friendly. The room was just what we needed and as advertised.

About the Host, John
I enjoy meeting new people, lending a helping hand whenever possible, outdoor sports, camping, hunting and fishing. I have a passion for real-estate and rehabing old houses. I like to think I can fix most anything mechanical or electronic.
