Public buses short walk from our house. 15 minute bicycle ride to the Palo Alto Caltrain station.
Other Things to Note

Over summer, our kids (10 and 12 y.o) are available to run errands for you if you need help.
The TV has Netflix built in. You can also choose to stream from your laptop using chromecast (already connected to TV)
Absolutely no smoking, either in the room or on our premises.
We respect your privacy. We will interact as little or as much with you as you'd like.
Very nice room in a great location. Host was accommodating of arrival and departure times.
The place is perfect if you have to stay in the area for a few days. 15min walk from all the restaurants and stores on University Av. and very quiet. Everything was new and clean. Nothing wrong with this place!
Siddharth made us welcome, responded to our inquiries and I feel the place was a bargain for the cost. thank you folks
Shobha and Siddharth made me feel very welcome in their gorgeous home. They were flexible about when I could arrive, arranged parking permits for me in advance, and the process of getting access to the private room was fast and easy. The room itself is beautiful, quiet, well-stocked, and has everything you need. They were also extremely quick to respond to any questions I had before and during my stay. I also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood in the evening after work. Highly recommend staying here, and definitely plan on returning the next time I have to visit Palo Alto for work!
Very welcoming host. Arrived late at night when it was cold, Sidd had the heater already going to warm up the room. Refrigerator was full of drinks; cupboards had snacks. Room was very clean and comfortable. Location was excellent, quiet neighborhood but still close to plenty of shopping.
This is more than a 5 Star Super Luxury Premium Design Place to be! I totally fell in love with everything! And I will be back as soon as possible! :-) Great hours, great appartement, simply awesome, thanks a lot!
The place is great. Located very conveniently next to highway.
Renovation is amazing. Very beautiful and comfy place.
The only downside is temperature control on the heater. It is not accurate, make sure to adjust it in advance to make sure you're not cold or overheat.
Separate entry, super private.
We live in the Bay Area, in the heart of Silicon Valley. We love living here - great people, culture and an outdoor lover's dream. We love exploring the neighborhood, meeting new people, hiking a different place each time (ask us about our favorites!), windsurfing - the bay area has it all!
We love to get away too. Seattle and Portland are our favorite west coast destinations. We've been to France quite a bit and love the people and the culture there, especially when you get out of the city. We have exchanged homes a couple of times with some lovely people from France, and hope to do it again.
Yoga is our favorite way to balance city life and slow down the pace. The Bay area quite possibly has the best Yoga teachers anywhere, and classes that vary from relaxing to really difficult. Ask us about our favorite Yoga teachers & studios (We have a number a short bike ride away)
Part of our desire to rent our room is to meet new, interesting people. We'd love to have a cup of coffee or (better still!) a glass of wine, and get to know you.
