Suminski Innski is a three-storied, historic house with a wrap- around porch overlooking the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains. Parquet floors, crystal chandeliers, marble fireplaces, ornate moldings. Tons of art from local painters and photographers. Walking distance (10 minutes) to the village's 9 different eateries, bars, and bakery. Canoes, kayaks, and bicycles are available to guests for use, but there are plenty of beautiful hikes to be had as well. On-site catering is available for parties of up to 50 people. The entire house can be rented for $1200 a night. Van shuttle service and tours available. Tivoli is halfway between the Rhinecliff and Hudson Amtrak stations, a twenty minute drive in either direction. The house has been 99% restored over the last decade (starting in 2003) after being largely abandoned from the fifties through the nineties. It was originally built by an ocean ship captain who settled on the shore here and operated a ferry service for all the East West commerce in the area which ran until the fifties but when the bridges were built over the Hudson, the traffic moved there and Tivoli became a ghost town until it's recent revival.
A 25% discount is extended to all teachers, social workers, veterans, aide workers, care givers, farmers, journalists, and bikini models.
