Casanova and the eighteenth century are doing well in a museum, but not in your home? You need bright and airy spaces? Want to be in the center, yet quiet and away from the crowd?
A Brilliant & Chic Dwelling is designed for you!
The wall window in the bedroom. Two bright massive windows weren't enough for us, so we designed this one too :)
- Renovated in summer 2014
- Bright thanks to large windows
- Cool due to thick walls
- Air conditioning and wifi internet, of course
- Living room with extra-comfortable three-seater sofa and TV 28 "LCD Full-HD
- open fully equipped kitchen
- Fantastic bedroom (two separate beds if needed)
- Large bathroom with long bath
- In a quiet street and in a quiet building
- It is just beautiful!
Check the week rates for the months, that's a deal!
Interaction with Guests
Note: we have so many things to tell you when we meet. Like in what taverns to eat and drink. Or in which museums you should not waste your time.
We want to hear from you. We want to know what you like to do to be able to tell where to do in Venice.
You can't more downtown than where we are. However, in the evenings the area is very quiet.
Saint Mark Square is far 5 minutes walking. Rialto Bridge a few steps further. You can reach out our favorite museums in less than 15 min.
Very very close to us you can find few banks & ATMs, a coin laundry, a bakery, a pharmacy, few cafés and a nice pastry shop.
You can go and get a ride to Lido and the beaches in 5 minutes and the ride is only 20 min long.
The water-bus stop to north lagoon (Murano, Burano and Torcello) is 10 min far from the house. The same stop is good for the direct water-bus to Venice Airport "Marco Polo".
Other Things to Note
During Carnival and from April till October the minimum stay is 3 nights during weekends.
We can manage to meet and check you in whichever time of the day (or night you like). The only thing we need to know is when exactly. And you can keep us posted by text if you late.
Few and common sense.
- Respect the recycling
- No smoking apartment: it smells and you can not by law
- Turn off lights and appliances when you leave
- Leave the apartment in a presentable state
Salvatore's associate, Fillipo met us at the apartment since Salvatore had to work that night. Fillipo spent a good 30 minutes telling us where to go for sight seeing and where to find great authentic Italian Food. The stay was great and the location is awesome. Highly recommend!
Very good location. Easy to find our way back to apartment. Not as confusing as some streets of Venice might be. Few restaurants downstairs which makes it very convenient. Place is clean and rather spacious. Host was very helpful and prepared a map ahead for us entailing the attractions, eating places & bars.
A great place to stay, along with a lovely welcome and recommendations of where to go and what to see. THE place to stay in venice. Will be back to stay again soon!
The flat is situated just by the Campo Santa Maria Formosa, and therefore it is really easy to get to both the Rialto / Rialto Market area, and the San Marco square, both about 10 minutes walk away once we figured the quick routes out (Rialto slightly nearer).
The flat is large, bright, airy and perfectly clean (if a little sparse of furniture), and was very comfortable. It's a quiet area, which is nice, but sound did carry in the alleys at night (I guess you'd have that problem everywhere in Venice).
We met Fillipo, (Salvatore's friend), who was extremely friendly and helpful. He took us through some insider knowledge of the local area, and made some recommends for Bocari and Restaurants which all proved to be excellent.
We had a late flight and being allowed to store the bags on the last day was a god-send, and was very much appreciated.
All in all this was an enjoyable place to stay and if I ever went back to Venice I would look to book again.
Very central, great location and awesome welcome. With arriving at the apartment Salvatore gave us all the necessary insider tipps and trick you need to get along in venice! The apartment is clean and had everything you need for a few day trip to venice. Just a few minutes from the San Marco Plaza and next to so much more interesting places. All perfect and if I come back to venice I will stay at this apartment!
Salvatore was an amazing host to us. We were incredibly delayed in our arrival to his apartment in Venice due to a pilot strike, and he was so kind to wait for us. He really helped us relax in a very stressful situation. Once we finally arrived, he had a map layed out for us with all the best places to check out in Venice, and great restaurants to try. The apartment was incredibly spacious and pleasant. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We loved the layout and the very Italian feel. The location is also excellent! We loved our stay in this apartment.
Clean, spacious flat in the perfect location. The directions provided to reach the apartment were great and Salvatore provided a handy map with sites and restaurants to check out. We would definitely stay here again!
