Where you’ll be

Clintondale, New York, United States

Clintondale is a hamlet set in the middle of beautiful apple orchards. We are close to mountains, rivers and lakes and every season has something to offer. The spring is perfect for hiking, mountain climbing, cycling on the rail trail, antiquing (the closest antique store is Grandpa's Vintage Attic which is just a few steps from the cottage) and driving around finding yard sales. In the summer we swim in lakes, rivers and pools and go to fairs. In the fall we go apple picking, hay riding, stuff ourselves with cider donuts from the farms, shop for fresh local produce at the open air markets and enjoy the spectacular colors of the leaves. In the winter we sled in the back yard or drive to mountains close by that offer skiing. New Paltz is less than 10 minutes away and offers lots of coffee shops, bars and restaurants, ranging from American to Thai to vegan! There is a wonderful selection of unique stores with local craftsmen. Destinations within half hour include Kingston, Rosendale, the Mohonk Preserve, Minnewaska, High Falls, Saugerties... Tell us your interests and we’ll help you plan the perfect weekend!

I was born and raised in Sweden. I have lived in New York and Los Angeles for the past 20 years. I work as a PR photographer on films and TV shows. When I am not on set I like to spend time at my house upstate with my family, cooking, gardening and watching movies.
