Tom was very responsive, and his communication, directions, etc., were all friendly and helpful I had a restful night's sleep in a comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. Thanks Tom!
Very accurate listing, quiet and peaceful and a great place to stay. Tom was a good host and definitely made sure I had everything I needed.
We never actually got to meet Tom (he was working an all night shift) but everything was neat and comfortable and we had a great sleep before we had to get up ad get on the road again early the next morning. The town itself was nice too, quaint, New England town.
Tom's home is in a nice, quiet neighborhood that is wooded and scenic, but still right in town. It was beautiful in the snow. The house is cozy, spacious, and comfortable, and the room that I stayed in had it's own private bath, which was really nice. Tom went out of his way to be accommodating and made me feel very much at home. He is a very kind and considerate host. I would highly recommend the space and would stay again.
Tom was punctual with his communication and clear to answer my questions. Since he was unable to be at the house while I was there, he made sure the lights were on when I arrived at night. My guest room and private bathroom was spacious with all the necessities. He has a charming spacious living room that allowed me to practice my guitar. Directions to his home are GPS-friendly. Quiet neighborhood with a nice selection of restaurants nearby. I'd recommend a stay here to others.
Tom was very welcoming. The room is indeed large with a very spacious private bath. The bed was exceedingly comfy. We did not spend much time at the house, but it is an interesting house in a quiet, tree lined street very near to Bates. We would gladly come again (and will since our son is just a sophomore).
Tom was very attentive host. Upon arrival to the conclusion of my vacation he was available to answer all my questions and responded to all my concerns. The house is quiet and spacious as described. He has a wonderful eat in kitchen with large windows that you can see the sunrise. I love to cook so I spent much of my free time cooking and reading his fantastic collection of cookbooks. The neighborhood is diverse; partially suburban and all stores are in walking distance. I had the chance to handle much of my business without traveling too much. Auburn is a great location because it is within an hour of the Fryeburg airport, Portland airport, and the region of Boothbay. The house is minutes from the impressive Bates College campus and downtown. While house may be in quiet Auburn, it is minutes of downtown Lewiston, the second biggest city in Maine. I feel confident that I will stay with his host again in the future.
