Interaction with Guests
We offer a relaxed warm welcome to guests and are happy to share our knowledge of Dublin and the many attractions here. It's a great city to walk around and soak up the culture.
15-20 min walk to city. It is located in the Bath Avenue area of Sandymount, one of Dublin’s nicest areas – it is a very safe, relaxed area while being close by to everything that’s going on. There are lots of nice bars, cafes and restaurants within 3 minutes walk. It is also right beside the Aviva Stadium (about 2 minutes walk) – the atmosphere on match days is fantastic. The RDS, Grand Canal Threatre, UCD, The O2 and Trinity College are all within walking distance. It is 5 mins walk away from the OFFICE "where we all search for things". There is a swimming pool just down the riverbank and the beach made famous by James Joyce is a 10 minute walk.
The DART (rail line) is a couple of minutes walk away.
Getting around is easy - you can walk to the city centre or take a bus or Dart (train). You can also hire bicycles on the street. Dublin-Bike scheme depot, (3 day pass €5, rent free for first 30 mins, small charge thereafter). You can pick them up at one depot and leave it at another depot.
Other Things to Note
The property is very central to everything the city has to offer and is also close to a very nice beach. It is a 5 minute walk to the OFFICE where "we can all search for things".
Arrival at the house anytime after 2pm on day of arrival. This will give time for the house to be cleaned. Check at time of booking to see if you can arrive earlier.
The house is a NO SMOKING house – if you wish to smoke there is an ashtray outside in the back patio area.
Please remember to TURN OFF all electrical appliances (daily) when leaving the property including the shower.
If you break anything we'd much rather you told us at the end of your stay than discover it after you leave - we promise not to get cross!
Highly recommend staying here! Great location between city and beach, so you can really experience both sides of Dublin. All the little extras Cepta puts in to the house makes it such an easy stay. Breakfast waiting in the fridge, plenty of shampoo, heating on, flowers, dvds and plenty of tourist info. The beds are so comfy and welcoming. The patio let's you enjoy the bit of sun that ireland gets.
A great place to stay!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Cepta and can highly recommend it to other Airbnb users. The flat was spot on in every respect (spotless, warm etc.) and everything we needed was provided – things like fresh flowers were a lovely unexpected touch! Cepta was most helpful, welcoming and flexible, which we really appreciated. The flat is perfect for the Aviva and for those who like to walk into town. There are great eateries and pubs nearby and the beach is a short walk away. Put it like this: we would not hesitate to come back. Many thanks, Cepta!
Cepta is an excellent host. I had a grey time in Dublin.
Cepta's house was warm and welcoming even in mid-January. The fridge was stocked, the beds were comfy and the location was unbeatable for visitors to Aviva, RDS or city centre. Highly recommended.
The house was very lovely. We had a very warm welcoming.
I would really recommend this place!
House was perfect and host very friendly would highly recommend this flat in great location.
Great house, clean, warm and nicely done, well equipped and welcoming, complete with Christmas tree for the festive season! Cepta and family were very helpful. Great views of the Aviva stadium from the window. Near enough to the city to walk in, and good amenities nearby. We felt very much at home!

I live very close to the offices where people "help others find things" - if you are coming to work there and looking for accommodation you can stay with me. I will be able to help you with lots of information on how to find permanent accommodation.
