Interaction with Guests
yes we do interact a fair bit with our guests. we usually play it by ear to see if the guests are requiring to chat or maybe they are just tired and wish to be alone or go down to the pub.
Natural beauty is everywhere around us. Our Village is very quaint and peaceful but still has shops and pubs , hairdressers, beauticians and a fitness suite.
I stayed at Ann Marie and Michael's garden room for 1 night. Both Ann Marie and Michael were friendly, helpful, and very warm. The room itself had everything I needed including a private bathroom. I stayed here during my visit to Slieve League and Donegal. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.
Ann and Michael welcomed us into their home and I couldn't have been more impressed. This was my first stay at an air bnb location and Ann beat my expectations. Her house was lovely and I will always remember Irish coffee and downton abbey!
We had more to do with Michael than Ann Marie but both of them were delightful and we learned a lot about the area from Michael. Both are pleasant and helpful hosts. The house and accommodation were charming. Kilcar and surrounding areas are beautiful and splendid Slieve League is nearby.
Staying at Annie's Secret Garden was very nice.
Ann Marie and Michael are very welcoming and very helpful. Ann Marie drove us to the slieve league cliffs and we all had a very good time.
The area all around is very beautiful, you can visit many beautiful places.

My partner Jim and me stayed for one night in the little village kilcar near the impressive slieve league.Due to a the terrible rain ,we had problems to communicate about arrival and directions etc.A very friendly bar man gave us directions and as it was exactly stated on descriptions how to get into house if she is not there,so we let ourselves (website hidden) still felt as if we were intruding though,so lucky enough we had the chance to meet Ann marie in person later in the evening and found her very friendly and (email hidden)e room had nice details with a warm water bottle and slippers, just the bed was way too soft for us but that is personal taste. It was very private as well as it was a separate entrance to main house. There was a little lounge and kitchen facilities. We visited the 2 pubs there and it we had good chats with the lovely locals. If you like privacy on your stay, you will enjoy it.
Very nice BnB. The room was nice and coloured. Small private bathroom. Good base to visit the country around. We received some suggestions from Ann and her husband and we had two great days around.
Just around the corner there's a nice tea-room for a great breakfast/snack.
As it was slightly cold on the first night, we received a hot-water bottle from Ann, very nice!
We are an active couple who enjoy walking and cycling in our beautiful countryside especially choosing the routes where we are directly looking onto the sea. In Winter or Summer it is spectacular!
We love to cook and try different dishes and work in the garden. Ceili dancing is one of our favourite ways to exercise and lately we have been learning the old Sean Nos dancing which is enjoying a bit of a revival. We love going to our National Games of Football and Hurling and then that evening watching all the highlights on TV and discussing them. Michael was priveledged to play for the County of Donegal for 13 years and still maintains his fitness by cycling , gym work, and walking our friends two dogs Guizmo and Molly three times a week.
We have a great interest in our national gaelic language of which Michael is a native speaker.
Ann enjoys painting gardening playing Badminton, knitting, and decorating the home. Of course we love to travel when we can with France being one of our favourite Countries in Europe ... the USA being next but now that we have discovered Air BnB we will be making it to lots more destinations in future ... God willing!
