A Staycation in St Awaries is about much more than staying in a 16th century thatched cottage, beautifully restored, It's about relishing the boutique feel, with the space and privacy of your own retreat, with all modern conveniences. It's true downtime in a memorable, unique setting. Perfect for relaxing and getting away from it all.

It is very easy to settle into the Carne area, but difficult to leave.

The space
St Awaries Cottage is a Grade 11 listed, period building, dating back to the 16th century, one of Wexfords oldest inhabited thatches. The Cottage was completely renovated and restored, using materials and techniques sensitive to it's heritage. It is equipped with all modern amenities. Be a part of Ireland's history, when staying in St Awaries Cottage.

Please note, that our Studio is adjacent to the Cottage. There might be some other guests from time to time, but both houses have a seperate entrance. If interested in booking the studio additionally (subject to availability) , please check out The Studio, Carne on Airbnb.
