If peace and quiet are what you’re looking for, our cabin is divinely satisfying! When we first discovered the property, the imagery and feeling was, “It’s an enchanted forest”. So, we purchased the forest and decided to share it with others :)
The Harvest House is safe and secluded at a very affordable price !

The space
Comfortable for 2 people. The Murphy bed has a full size medium firm mattress No worries about accessing internet. Our provider is Nextlink/Megalink Plan which provides great Wifi on the entire property. So if your idea is to relax in nature plus work, we have you covered. Or, if movie watching or gaming is appealing, Roku streaming is all yours .
WE LOVE SPOILING OUR GUESTS..we leave homemade cookies and farm fresh eggs.
The pergola has a hammock,
swinging chairs, outdoor ping pong table, bird watching and other games.
The fire pit overlooks a seasonal pond with plenty of free firewood.
A delightful garden with friendly Welsh Harlequin ducks.
The Chic Inn is where all the girls hang out-lol.
Plus a prayer path for contemplating and strolling through nature.

READING, TALKING, DREAMING? a delightful PERGOLA with swinging chairs and a hammock await you! Plus, it is a great place to watch birds, play ping pong or darts.

GARDEN INTEREST? You are welcome to wonder about the garden and pick a few veggies for dinner. Plus, there is a wonderful family of hummingbirds that fly about in the summer months. 4 welsh harlequin ducks are now calling the garden their home as well. Come say hello- they are very friendly.

GRILLING? Lighter fluid and matches are provided; just bring your charcoal.

CAMP FIRE? There is plenty of firewood and stargazing is encouraged at the fire pit area on the hill.

* CLEANING AND SANITIZING: For those who are sensitive to perfumes and fragrances, we only use naturally derived products. We do not use air fresheners or any artificial fragrances of any kind.

Both Michael and I love nature. It was a dream come true for us to find this property. After many years working and living in the city, we feel so blessed to wake up to sound of birds rather than the morning commute. My favorite destinations are Nepal and Cambodia. Michael's favorite is North Carolina. We both love hosting get togethers and our favorite food is ..well..just about anything someone else cooks. Our style is "easy going".
