Claire's place is surely an artists house. It was walking distance from shoreditch. Which was great for hanging, eating and clubbing. We enjoyed our stay. It's an alternative view of london worth while to see. Claire was also very helpfull explaining the neighbourhood.
Loved it, great views, clean, really fun and artistic apartment! :)
We had a wonderful week in Claire´s apartment. It is close to everything and has wonderful view to central London. Claire is very helpful and she answer our questions fast and precisely. We warmly recommend Claire`s apartment.
It has been a wondrous week in London. Five of us stayed in the apt, and this space has a lot of things travelers deserve to have. Comfortable beds, fridge, a bath tub and even a turtle! On top of it, it has panoramic view from Canary Walf to Central London! The view at 29 Caliban Tower, in my perspective, has better view than at the London Eye. It was literally TOP London Views!
Although getting the key for check-in was thrilling since we arrived late at night. Long story short, I almost could have met Claire's parents, but managed to get in. Thankfully, Saveway Express, which btw is located right next to the Caliban Tower, was open till 12AM, and I could get the key. (This also means it is not so hard to buy beer for good time.) I will miss the view from the flat, the street, tube, and everything about London.
I was just few days in there but quite got used to that flat.I was with 3 other persons and it's just perfect size for 4 people. Overall experience was good and i will for sure reccommend this flat and Airbnb.
Great place to stay- a short walk to busy and lively area of Shoreditch, Great view, nice, clean apartment. I will gladly stay here again.
Beautiful apartment with spectacular view, super comfortable beds and ... a charming turtle ! We'll be back very soon! Adrien
The apartment is very tastefully decorated with really interesting artwork and furniture but the best thing is the amazing view of London both at night and waking up in the morning to a perfect view of the sky from in bed.
Claire was very quick to contact me and give me information, I would definatly stay again
I couldn't have asked for a better host. Claire is a very dynamic individual, a quality made extremely visible in all of the decor in this flat. She spent great care in ensuring the process ran smoothly - from enquiring about her place, to booking, all the way to any queries I had during my stay. Given the time of year and the inevitable disarray of a busy calendar, one cannot deny everything was dealt with in the most efficient manner possible.
Each room provided a welcoming warmth one would not have initially expected from the building itself. As many of the reviews have stated, the area could be deemed by some as not entirely aesthetically pleasing, but if you can look beyond this (this is no fault of Claire's at all, or by any means a deciding factor), you will benefit from a lovely stay.
The view from the balcony quickly reasserted my love for London and it'd be a crime not to mention the awe brought about by the grand tank with the terrapin found in main room!
I would not hesitate to rent one of Claire's flats out again.
We stayed at Claire's apartment for 10 days and we had a great time. The apartment is spacious with good sized rooms and a nice big bathroom, with lots of mirrors (which made it easy for the girls to get ready everyday) There are lots of little quirks around the apartment like art and little statues which give a nice character to the space.
It is a 10 minute walk from Old Street station and well located to night buses so getting home at any time was easy.
The views are beautiful and its lovely to watch the city scape change with the changing weather.
Would definitely recommend Claire as a host and her apartment, we had a great time!
