An entire two double bedroom flat in an award winning 1972 ex-council tower block with stunning panoramic views across the East End, City of London and the West End. The flat is ideal for musicians as it has a piano, guitar and (a saxophone or flute may be borrowed on request).
There is a large open plan living room/kitchen with 180 degree double glazed windows and balcony, bespoke kitchen with washing machine. There is a day bed in the living room - just larger than a single bed which can be used for additional guests. There is also a spare single mattress which can be set up in any room.
There is also a huge aquarium with a terrapin!
Most of the furniture and furnishings are high-end designer or handmade by local artisans or designers.
The two bedrooms have large windows looking onto the stunning city view with large wardrobes. One of the bedrooms also has a desk.
The rest of flat has beautiful laminated floors with custom made digital tiles in the custom-made bathroom.
The flat has been used for films and magazine photoshoots. A feature film called 'Panic' was shot almost entirely in the flat and will be in cinemas in late 2014!
If the flat is booked on the dates you want, I have an almost identical flat in the same block - take a look at my other listings!
Guests have sole access to the whole two double bedroom flat with bathroom, living room and kitchen for up to 6 people.
Please note that the flat isn't suitable for parties or large gatherings and noise must be minimal in the evening and at night.

Great spot! Clean, nice quit neighborhood, and that view! Key pickup was well taking care of, and Kate was happy to answer my questions. Bike renting system is only a few meters away from the apartment, we thought it was the best way of exploring London. But some biking experience is mandatory, London is not the place to learn cycling
A really interesting place to stay. The flat looked a bit daunting on approach but it is a really attractive place with amazing views. We really liked hoxton too, it's a bit like what the edges of Islington were like when we lived there 20 years ago.
So all in all a very happy first experience of air b&b
We had a wonderful time in Claire´s apartment. The pictures were accurate and the neighborhood as described. The location were perfect - both for going to local (and actually very good) restaurants/cafès, for walking (there is a park and very nice canal close by) and for going to the city centre by public transport. When we arrived there was only parking permits for one day, but this was sorted out very efficiently by the housekeeper. The apartment itself had the most wonderful views and were comfortable for two adults and two children. On the negative side, the apartment building was not very nice and the seating arrangements in the apartment could have been better. Having said that, we have no regrets :-).
Claire was very professional throughout the whole process. We found the keys at the local shop as Claire instructed. The budiling looks rough from the outside having been an ex local authority budiling but the apartment is really beautiful and we found it clean.
Unfortunately, due to the 6 of us being havign to take showers one after the other we ended up leaving the flat at 11:40 instead of the 11 am check out so really apologetic about that and we weren't able to leave the flat as clean as we found it but hoping the cleaning fee included in the overall price would cover the cleaning.
Claire did a fabulous job of making us feel welcome, even at very short notice.
Her flat is such a surprising gem and really close to lots of wonderful shops, bars and the market which is fab!
Great unique apartment with awesome views. We were a group of 5 girls and even managed one bathroom. Comfortable beds. Pack walking shoes.. we kind of walked all over the place to find bus lines and correct side of the street. Claire was super helpful and our trip turned out just great.
Great apartment with great view on the City! Very close from brick lane that we love!

I'm a London born artist. My flats are full of art work by myself and others and a lot of the furniture is also made by local artisans. I love London and I hope to show off the best of it!
I'm very happy to recommend local galleries, bars, cafes or clubs. It might also be possible to use my art studio, which is 3 minute walk from the flat.
My favourite part of London is where the flat is: Hoxton/Shoreditch in Central East London. I'm usually nearby unless I'm out of town - I do travel quite a lot but have a good team to help with the flats while I'm abroad.
I run marathons, so let me know if you want any advice on running routes. It's possible to run for 20 or 30 miles through parks, along canals, marshes and woodland - only being on a road for a couple of minutes from the flat!
I speak French, some Spanish and a little Japanese.
