My house is a big, beautifully renovated 3200 square foot ranch, with a wonderful outdoor living area. It sits on a really pretty half acre lot, and is private, quiet and only 1.5 miles to the Pearl Street Mall.
This is a big, beautiful, and comfortable house in a prime Boulder location. It's close to downtown, hiking, biking, and everything else Boulder offers, but also feels very private and peaceful. The house is fully equipped with everything you might need and it will be clean and ready for you when you arrive. The main living area is a huge loft-like space with a big sectional sofa, 60 inch TV, big dining table that seats 8-10 with no problem, and a large kitchen equipped with everything you could need for cooking or entertaining. There is wifi, built in stereo that can plug into your iPod, a piano, Xbox, DVD library and bluray/DVD player. Plus there's an outdoor living area shaded by a beautiful arbor, with a gas grill if you feel like cooking and eating outside. The 1/4 acre back yard is fully fenced. The master bedroom has a king size natural latex bed, while the 2 guest bedrooms and upstairs loft all have queen size memory foam beds. All bedrooms have flatscreen TVs. Bathrooms have big, 6 foot long tubs.
Ask me anything you'd like to know about Boulder. I'll do my best to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Guests can access the entire house except for the garage unless otherwise agreed.
Interaction with Guests
Guests will have the house to themselves, but I will be available on the phone at any time if they need.
$395 a night is for the whole house, but if you want to stay for a week or longer, that rate can be adjusted.
I love my little neighborhood because it feels almost rural--all the houses are on half-acre lots, and it's on a side street that is not used much. At the same time, it's only 1.5 miles to the Pearl Street Mall, and the nearest shopping center with grocery store/coffee shop/restaurants/etc. is less than half a mile away! I feel like it's the best of both worlds and pretty unique in Boulder.
The bus to downtown Boulder stops less than a mile away. You can also access Boulder's great system of bike paths.
Other Things to Note
If you need, I can stock the house with whatever food, beverages, etc. you need. I'll charge you only what I pay, and provide receipts. I may be able to arrange transportation to get you to and from events, and I am also happy to give you advice on hikes, bike paths, restaurants, etc.
I am open to adjusting rates depending on your situation. Staying longer than a week is possible--let me know what your plans are and I'll see if I can make it work. Rates can be adjusted accordingly.
I want you to make yourself at home and be comfortable while at the same time treating my house with the same care you would your own.
This house is beyond amazing. The
pictures do not do it justice. We enjoyed it so much we chose to hang out out the house instead of going out one night! Chris had everything we needed and even stocked the fridge with soft drinks and bagels/muffins for us. The location is in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to Pearl St to go out shopping and to eat with ease. We already are talking about going back to Boulder just to stay here.
Chris was the most gracious host and the house was perfect. Everything was as represented on the website. We had a wonderful visit and would love to stay at this location again.
The house was amazing and Chris was a great host! He had a nice basket of bagels and muffins sitting out for us when we arrived, as well as a guide to everything that was happening in boulder while we were there. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Boulder!
My family had a wonderful experience in this amazing home. We loved the house, it's location and Chris our host. We hope to return again and highly recommend this rental.
The pictures and explanations do not do Chris' house justice. From the moment we walked in everything was perfect. When we arrived we were met by Chris and given a tour of the home. He had a large plate of muffins and bagels waiting for us, as well, as a fridge stocked with snacks, detailed instructions on how to work all the A/V equipment, and an excellent guide to the city of Boulder. The house is nice and private but there are two wonderful neighbors very close by who truly made us feel at home. Everything about this house and host was above expectation and I would highly recommend you book it.
We loved our stay in Chris's house. It was large, comfortable, and lovely. Chris met me upon arrival and gave me a tour of the house. He also left a handbook with how everything works in the house as well as how to get around Boulder. His restaurant recommendations were very helpful. The neighborhood is very quiet.
Chris's home at 2028 Hermosa is spectacular - even better than the pictures - lots of light and space. He has thought of everything to make your vacation perfect. This house is perfect for a family or group of friends who want to get together - only problem for me is that I did not want to leave!!
The beds are super comfortable, pillows soft, lots of fresh towels and hot water. The lounge area is big enough for everyone to visit and he provides a separate space on the other by the fire to read a book or take a snooze. The large kitchen is a delight to work in and dining area is conducive to memorable evenings. You will enjoy this get away!!
My partner and I love to travel, and we really like staying in places that let us experience what it's like to live like a local for a little while. That's why we like not staying in generic hotels. We are very aware that we are guests, and wherever we stay we treat our places like home. That means we keep everything clean and we treat our places and our neighbors with respect and consideration. We don't smoke, drink to excess, and we are both health conscious and active people.
