Very nicely decorated home with clean towels, toiletries and food in the pantry. Host was very friendly and responsive to emails. The only criticism is that this studio is very small. The picture as presented is with the bed up against the wall. Once it is folded down, it does not really fit 4 people.
Rita and Larry were amazing hosts! The unit was perfectly described - we had 4 girls and we fit comfortably. There was everything you would need in the kitchen to cook full meals and they even left us chocolate and a bottle of wine! We were only a 10 minute drive away from Squaw which was great as well for skiing. My only caution would be to make sure you find a detailed map of the resort community before you head out so that you can find the right unit. We arrived around 1am and had a really hard time finding the unit - the buildings are marked but in the dark you can't see anything. But once we found it, it was smooth sailing. Thanks so much Larry and Rita!
The studio was great. We stayed for a week and worked out of it (good wifi). Not the quietest place, but close to all the skiing and hiking and restaurants. Larry was super-responsive when we had an issue with the heater. Great hosts!
Warm and cozy condo with a perfect location! Rita and Larry left very clear instructions for everything and check-in and check-out was easy. Loved the balcony and outdoor seating!
The location was great, with easy access to town. We skied at Northstar which was a bit far and probably would have been easier to go to Squaw but the snow was great at Northstar. Rita & Larry were very gracious hosts and had lots of Holiday Treats for us and our dog Misty - they even played with her and took her out while we were skiing. Great Ski Trip!!!! Thanks..Kelin & Steve
Rita & Larry are great hosts that made sure we had a positive experience.
The studio was clean and in great condition, and comfortably accommodated 2 couples. It was new and cozy, and we loved the fireplace! There is available parking. It is very close to the main Granlibakken lobby and restaurant (2-min walk).
It is well located, approximately 10 minutes from Alpine Meadows and Squaw ski resorts.
Thanks you for the nice review............ FYI, our next guest alerted us to the stove top not getting hot and we discovered a defected breaker. We were able to replace the breaker with in a hour and the stove works normal again. Next time, please let us know if something is not working right so we can bet it fixed asap....
thanks again. Larry and Rita
Larry and Rita's place was a perfect, cozy studio for our weekend on the slopes. When we arrived, Larry and Rita left snacks and even a bottle of wine. The place was clean and comfy with a well stocked kitchen. After a day of snowboarding, we loved relaxing next to the wood burning fireplace. Our hosts were great and I would recommend this place to anyone looking to escape to the mountains.

My husband and I are retired school teachers and we live in Lake Tahoe during the warmer months and winter in Hawaii and or Arizona. We live a very quiet lifestyle and enjoy our favorite activity called pickleball. Pickleball is America's fastest growing sport especially among the baby boomers. We are both nationally ranked pickleball tournament players and we play competitive pickleball where ever we go. We also give lessons
