Large dbl bedroom in beautiful split level seaside apartment in Victorian home with high ceilings, large windows and fabulous unterrupted sea views. Cafe's, pubs and public transport all within walking distance plus direct bus from Airport.
It's a lovely apartment with beautiful sea views. Very relaxing.
Guests have their own tv in their room plus wifi.
Happy for guests to use the kitchen and bay window area for breakfast or to drop in and say hello. Will have space in the fridge and cupboard if they wish to buy food.
If they would like to cook I would ask only that they clean up after themselves. :) I would like to have the upstairs areas to myself in the evenings from 1945 onwards.
Interaction with Guests
I am usually present during their stay and always happy to say hello and answer any questions they might have. Also give advice on places they can visit etc. I am used to my own privacy and respect theirs. Happy to take them on a walk around the seafront when they arrive and orient them to the area.
Great place for walks, coffee shops, pubs, bars, restaurants and there is the wonderful cliff walk by the sea from Bray to Greystones.
There are trains and busses to Dublin at the end of the road. Very convenient and the Main Street is a 10 minute walk from here.
Direct bus from Airport to Bray run by Aircoach. Every hour.
Other Things to Note
I understand French and can make myself understood also have some Italian.
Normal house rules. Would ask guests to be respectful of the apartment. Not to be too loud. To clean up after themselves and not to invite other people in. :)
My experience of Bray was absolutely linked to the perfect location of this b&b and friendly and welcoming host, Halinka. Everything I needed in the way of restaurants, shops, seaside walks or views was right there and Halinka made sure I was oriented to all of the town's offerings! My room was very comfortable. I was there for a work project near Bray so I really appreciated the good sleeps and quiet of this place. I definitely recommend this b&b as good value!
Sculptor. Cheerful. Like good coffee, music, films, Barcelona, Italy. Lived in Paris for 5 years. Love my home and am sure you will too. Peaceful. Plenty of places to stroll including the beautiful Bray to Greystones Cliff Walk. Choice of coffee shops, wine bars, restaurants, pubs and public transport all just down the road. Direct bus from the Airport.
