The north slope of Potrero Hill is know for its sweeping views of downtown San Francisco, sunny weather (sunniest in all of San Francisco) and easy access to the best parts of town. We also have some of the most excellent restaurants just a block away. The neighborhood is a cool mix of homes and businesses, some warehouses, and lofts.
Take the Third Street light rail to points downtown including North Beach and Fisherman's Wharf, and take the 22 Fillmore bus to the Mission and the Castro and points west. Close and convenient public transportation.
The Lookout is situated in a very unique to San Francisco setting, surrounded by a lush walled garden. You'll feel like you're visiting wine country. I'm pleased to have honeymooners, business travelers, and neighbors' family staying with me.
Photos are totally accurate, the appartement is so clean and so well done. Parking was very easy. Kepa is very nice, easy going and very responsive. She is always happy to talk to you or help but won't hold you if you're busy or tired. That's what we were looking for. Thanks again Kepa and you're welcome in Boston.
Kepa is a terrific host with space that is thoughtfully laid out, welcoming and has every amenity you need for a business or personal trip. Plus, the location can't be beat. I look forward to staying with Kepa as often as I am in San Francisco.
I love staying at Kepa's. It quiet, safe and has easy parking. It's really fun neighborhood and the accommodations are the best! Kepa's garden make you feel like you're in an oasis! The bed is great and the bedding in lovely. I cant recommend her spot more highly!
Kepa is the best host! After making my reservation I sprained my ankle. She moved me to an easier to access unit, met me at the door to help with my bags, provided me with ice packs and even set me up with a much improved brace than what I had. As always, the unit was clean, quiet and fully functional. On top of that her design sensibility inside and outside makes staying here a unique, pleasing experience.
This is a great little getaway in the middle of the city. I had a pretty intense week of work in SF and it was really great coming back to this place to relax each night. The little coffee bar and outlook made the mornings pretty great. I liked it so much, one morning I picked up breakfast to bring back and eat on the outlook.
Kepa was friendly and professional. Great spot and a great host.
Lovely, clean, homey, and quiet. We would happily stay at the Lookout again, and will certainly recommend it to others!
Kepa has created a divine get-a-way and we are so grateful we could experience it for a weekend. The garden lookout is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for some peace and quiet, it was so serene. The garden is to die for, I only wish we had more time to enjoy it- a perfect morning would be to sit among the succulents with a cup of coffee. I think it would be a great meditation spot too! Kepa was a gracious host- we didn't get a chance to meet her because it was such a quick weekend for us but hopefully we will get to next time. Potrero hill is a great place to stay if you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of the city. We had a car so it was easy to get around. If you don't mind public transportation, I can imagine it would be quite easy to get into the city. We took a cab, courtesy of Lyft, to Nopa one night for dinner (a must if you've never been) and it cost $15. The 3rd street rail is close by and could take you into the city via the Embarcadero.
We came to San francisco for our honeymoon.
Kepa is an fantastic Host. She even bought us a gift with a card to welcome us. She was also really quick to respond to our needs.
We were very satisfied with the design of our room, everything was very well maintained and new. We even had complimentary drinks waiting for us in the fridge.
The neighbourhood is safe and convenient. Just 2 streets away you can find very good french restaurants, and cafes for brunch. It had been a really good experience. We would definitely come back again.
Again and again, staying with Kepa is perfect. Quiet, relaxing, wonderful space. I very very much enjoy staying at her beautiful listings, which are an oasis in a very busy city. It feels like coming home every time. Highly recommended!
Kepa's Garden Lookout is a cozy and convenient spot during a stay in San Francisco. It opens into a sunny back garden and yard, a perfect place to enjoy dinner or a drink. I also love how friendly and available Kepa is. She's always willing to share a favorite spot to dine, or engage in good conversation. Thanks for everything, Kepa!
