Boston house and hotel is very expensive, so please don't expect condition like hotel with this price. But we provide all the basic living condition and have kitchen available. If you look for your honey moon stay, please keep this place away :) :)
It's a dilapidated room with a very bad 'customer service'. Rex was not to be found anywhere and getting the password for the WiFi was a nightmare. Only after I had requested another person living next room was I able to get the password. It is less than 100 steps away from Revere Beach station, and the beach itself is about 200 steps away but the room condition needs to improve massively.

Place ok for sleep and wash
Everything I needed was there. Great responsive host who was very helpful!
Everything was fine. I liked the Chek-in process!
Price & Location is great. As other guests stated 'this is a basic room'. Communication with Rex is great. I wish that my room is not near the kitchen.
Hi everyone with my first experience with airbnb done I wanted to share some thoughts on this rental.
To everyone who is thinking of staying here I would recommend it on the following conditions:
- You have done some traveling and know what to expect when you pay $35 a night to live in a expensive city.
- You are self sufficient and don't depend on anyone for things.
With those two conditions being said:
Rex's place is bare, no frills. Let's get that off the table. If you want a luxurious condo I advise you to pick somewhere else. If you need a place to sleep and explore Boston during the day then this place is for you.
The place offers a good shower (bring slippers) your own towel + tolietries. Place also has a kitchen on the first floor where you can perhaps make tea since I saw a kettle. I didn't leverage any of this so your milage may vary.
If you want to think and read the place is also very quiet. I was staying with one guest on the first floor that did not make a ruckus. The house is on a small street near the end and it's a very quiet and residential neighborhood.
You'll be staying in "Wonderland" Boston. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the house/train station from the wonderland stop depending on how fast you walk. From there it's a blue line T into downtown + the airport. To get downtown you'll be looking at a 30 minute commute. Make sure you buy a T card when you make it to Boston.
I cannot comment on Wi-Fi Internet access since I have my own hotspot but, if you need 4G LTE coverage from Verzon, the signal is very good here. I was able to connect and use my laptop on my LTE service with no problems. I was noticing a spotty connection when traveling throughout Boston so I wanted to say it works in the house.
Other than that my experience was good. I never saw Rex but he was a good host and didn't give me any drama during my stay. I also was able to rise pretty late since I am not a morning person so this was also a plus.
I hope this gives you a 100 foot overview of exactly what to expect when you are renting this place. Before I rented I read some other reviews and wanted to compare my own take. I think some of the other reviewers just had it too good and never did any "real" budget travel and expect a lot more for what they are paying for.
We did not see Rex, because we were outdoors a lot. Everything we needed was there. We only used te bedrooms and shower, because like I said we were more outside than in the house.
It was a terrible stay, I emailed Rex our arrival time a few days before, only to find the bed undone and room messy from the earlier occupier on our arrival! We also emailed and called the number a few times on the day but the number was out of reach.
We ended up making bed ourselves using bedsheets (thank god they are clean!) found in the laundry room. Bedroom seems dirty too and I left without having a shower!
Will definitely not recommend this place for anyone wishing to stay in a clean and organised place.
