Charming apartment in nice quiet neighborhood, close to convenience stores and the city. During our stay we couldn't use the 'red room' as there were some groundwater (?) issues in that room. The bikes were nice for a quick run to the store or city, for longer distances I would recommend to rent a bike.
Contact with the host, Evelien, was good and any questions we had were answered quickly.
Evelien's apartment was spacious and filled with light. The location was great; near shopping , The Forest, and a bus ride or walk to the City Center. Would be happy to come back!!
I have been moving to The Hague for longer and it was a perfect start. A lovely appartment in a very nice neighbourhood. And Evelien is a perfect host !
Evelien is a wonderful host and the apartment is gorgeous! We arrived to find everything beautiful, clean and ready for us. There were lots of nice touches, like the breakfast table set up and candles ready to go. Evelien is very friendly and approachable. She gave us her phone number and we felt free to contact her whenever we needed anything, even if it wasn't about the house.
We were actually not on holiday but relocating to Holland. We stayed here for our first three weeks and it was a great first home! The apartment is in a nice local neighbourhood location in the Hague with good access to transport - train, bus, tram and even bikes that we borrowed! The beautiful forest/park is very close and so are all the shops etc that you will need.
We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in the Hague for a while. Thanks again Evelien for sharing your beautiful home with us and being such a friendly host!
Lovely host, we were made very welcome. The apartment is fantastic, classic 1930's. Den Haag is a wonderful city and cycling is very easy.
Excellent train service to Amsterdam and the apartment is close to the station. Holland is a wonderful country with lovely people, go and visit!!!
Evelien was delightful and her apartment was wonderful! The neighborhood is quiet but one street away from shops so also very convenient. Only 15 min walk to central station or there is also a bus one street over. The apartment was clean and very spacious for a Dutch house. The garden was lovely. She was flexible, friendly and easy to get in touch with. We would definitely recommend it to others and stay there again!
Im from a little village, close to The Hague, between the cows and the warehouses with flowers and vegetables. After high school I got my Bachelor in Human Kinatic Movements and went working. I love sports, singing in my choir and being outside.
