The apartment was clean and lovely,I think perfect for two person, very central position with lot of market, restaurant and pub. The metro is really near and we take it every morning, not before having had breakfast with pain au chocolat! but you can walk everywhere due to the good position (louvre, operà ecc).
The apartment is up a pretty narrow flight of stairs and there is no elevator but it wasn't a problem for us 'cos we had cabin bags!tv and wifi ok!Patrick was really kind and responsive to all our queries and the instructions to get into the apartment were spot on.Perfect for a short -lasting travel!
Absolutely loved the convenience of the location, which was close to everything, from the shops like Galerie Lafayette and Printemps but also grocery stores, restaurants, shops, and walking distance to the Garnier, Place Vendome, Place Madeleine, and the Louvre/Tuileries Garden. The apartment was very comfortable, tastefully decorated and has all the conveniences - full kitchen, laundry, heated towel rack, etc. Given its central location, it was surprisingly quiet at nice and slept well through the night. It's hard to find apartments in the city that are quiet at night. My parents and I had a wonderful time!
We had a lovely time in Paris at Patrick's apartment. We were a group of 3 and that would be the maximum number of people I would suggest as it is a small space. Convenient location however and Patrick was very helpful and easy to deal with. I would definitely go back!
Patrick's flat is located in a very convenient and lively area of Paris. We walked from the flat to the Gare du Nord, the Pompidou Centre and the Louvre, and also had drinks and ate dinner in a couple of local bars restaurants. The flat itself is small, but very clean and well-appointed and in an interesting old building with a lovely spiral staircase. Although the bathroom is tiny, the shower is very good, delivering constant hot water. The only two minor criticism we would have is that the Wifi only works intermittently and the flat has no view. Its windows overlook the walls of an adjacent part of the building. However, this off-street position means that it is quieter than it would be otherwise. It would also be useful if there were a list of good local bars and restaurants left in the flat for airbnb people to refer to. But we enjoyed our stay there. The questions we had when we arrived were answered efficiently by email.
Awesome place at an awesome location, real central paris. The apartment was newly renovated, nice bathroom with separate toilet. It offers space for 3 persons, (4 if a couple likes to sleep on the small sofa bed), which makes it a real bargain.
Patrick is a super nice host, he was always helpful and forthcoming when there were questions or problems. Thanks, Patrick!
It is the real Paris! We simply fell in love with the area where apartments are located) Nearby many charming cafes and small shops, near to metro station - only 5 minutes. Reception of guests is very well organized. Excellent bathroom, convenient kitchen and cozy bedroom. Thanks, Partik!
This was a great place to stay. Fantastic location - right by two of the best historic covered shopping passages, Passage Jouffroy and Passage Verdeau. Great variety of good restaurants nearby. It's a very small apartment (perfect pied a terre for two, would be a bit of a squeeze with four) - bed and sofabed both very comfortable. It's well-kitted out and well-designed, good kitchen facilities and a good powerful shower. There's a tv with plenty of cable channels. And Patrick was very helpful and very quick to respond to messages right from the time of booking. If we had wanted to stay in a similar standard hotel in a similar area, it would have cost us twice as much. I would definitely stay here again.
Patrick was great. He was easily available for questions per email. Instruction for check in & out was perfect. It's a nice place to get after a long day walking in Paris.
Location is perfect so you can reach train, bars and sights very quickly.
The apartment was lovely and very clean. It has a nice kitchen and a very nice bathroom. Size of the apartment is ok. We were there with 4 people and we would definitely stay here again.
Our stay was good in general, the flat was in accordance with the description, but some things desapointed us during our stagewww on the apartment. We had no instruction about how to enter the building and we had to wait tired, with rain and with our bags on the outside until a resident opened for us and gave us the password needed. As agreed the key to the apartment should be in the mailbox, but the key was not on terem and once again we had to wait whithout a clou about what was rappening until a lady came to give us the key and show from a distance where the apartment door was, and the door had no number. We could not use the internet because the wifi password was not informed. Anyway we recomend Airbnb for everybody.
The section of Paris we were in was very interesting and lively. The apartment was just as described and except for some minor glitches in getting keys and Internet access, we enjoyed ourselves. One word of advice, travel light as the winding steps from the first to the third floor are steep and best accommodate smaller pieces of luggage.
