the studio of Sylvia was the best place we stayed at in our tour of california, very good, the bathroom is clean, the room nicely decorated, complete privacy, wonderful location,
Sylvia was the perfect host! She gave us lots of information about the area along with maps and tips on how to find the best restaurants in town. The little detached studio was perfect! It has a secluded patio where we enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine in the evenings. The studio was fully stocked with drinks in the fridge and snackies for us to nosh on. The bathroom was perfectly stocked as well. We enjoyed our weekend getaway and will come back and visit often! I feel as though we have made lifelong friends with our kind hosts.
We had a fantastic time again! This time we visited with our 10 month old daughter. Just enough space for the little one and the dog. Thank you again Sylvia and Tim!
We stay two nights in Carmel and it felt like home. Sylvia and Tim are really lovely and kind people! they welcome us and show us the guest house, they prepare us maps and even sat with us to tell all the things and places that we could see in Carmel. The guest house is lovely! Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures, perfectly clean and even with coffee, tea, snacks, water and chocolates! We really enjoyed our stay at Carmel and i'm sure we will come back and stay at Sylvia and Tim's guest house! Thanks!!
It's great experience to stay with Sylvia in Carmel, she prepared local map and some of broachers for us. I like the design and decoration of their house, beautiful garden!
Sylvia was a really great host. She has a great home and was extremely welcoming upon arrival.
The unit is very nice and completely separate from the main home. There is a nice patio right outside the apartment which was a great place to sit outside with the dogs and plan the day in Carmel.
My husband and I travel a lot and every once in a while we meet a host that really knows what they're doing. Sylvia is that person....welcoming, thoughtful, generous, conscientious, unobtrusive. And our cosy little studio reflected all that as well. There was everything there that we needed to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable.
Lucky long time, full time residents of beautiful Carmel. Retired art gallery owner partnered with a retired custom home builder. Between us we've lived here for over 50 years and wouldn't think of living anywhere else. But...we love to travel too. This photo was taken in 2009 along the Tuscan coast when we hiked the entire Cinqueterre.
Having the free time and knowing what a destination Carmel is, we have begun a little business as vacation rental hosts. This sweet studio is our first offering and we're excited to offer visitors a chance to live like locals without having to spend a small fortune to be here.
