The Hen Dy (‘old house’ in Welsh) is the oldest surviving house on the Nanhoron estate. It faces south overlooking Nanhoron's stunning walled gardens with views to the parkland and woodland walk, and beside the house, a Baroque garden. The house used to be the Gardeners’ Bothy, Brew House and Laundry for the Estate and has a bell tower which was used to announce mealtimes &c., and is a traditional Welsh stone-built house with a slate roof.

Super trip. Such a cosy place in completely awesome grounds. The woodland walks around were amazing and well landscaped with seating benches tucked away all over We will be back I’m sure again

This charming house is situated in a truly magical setting. We loved the woodland walk - such an adventure for the children. And the gardens and grounds are so beautiful and impeccably kept. We were made to feel so at home by the owners, and they even left some homegrown tomatoes…
