The Hen Dy (‘old house’ in Welsh) is the oldest surviving house on the Nanhoron estate. It faces south overlooking Nanhoron's stunning walled gardens with views to the parkland and woodland walk, and beside the house, a Baroque garden. The house used to be the Gardeners’ Bothy, Brew House and Laundry for the Estate and has a bell tower which was used to announce mealtimes &c., and is a traditional Welsh stone-built house with a slate roof.
