A very welcoming place with delicious home-cooked breakfasts. Paul and Stewart are very friendly hosts, who made their DVD collection available to my children and enthused about Dr Who on demand! The family had a great weekend in Cardiff and Ty Rosa is a walkable distance from both the quay and the town areas. Bus-stop immediately outside is a bonus.
Paul and Stuart are very welcoming. The booking process, accommodation and gourmet breakfast made for an amazing, stress free experience.
The accommodation photos are accurate, great location, amenities are clean and comfortable.
Overall a great stay!
Paul and Stuart made me feel very welcome, to both TyRosa and to Cardiff. Very helpful in assisting me to find activities, places to visit, transportation, restaurants (though they serve excellent food at the BnB too). Breakfast is awesome as is their hospitality. I enjoyed very much and will stay again next visit to Cardiff. Varied neighborhoods in the area from very upscale to less than upscale but I felt safe everywhere. The room was clean, the bed comfortable as was shared bathroom clean and dining/eating areas clean. Very friendly, highly recommended, bus stop outside the door, walking is not far and cab from heart of Cardiff is less than 5 pounds. Thank you again Paul and Stuart. Cheers!
We had a very brief but pleasant stay at Paul's. When we arrived there was an issue with the electricity which delayed us checking in by 25 mins but he was very apologetic and made us a cup of tea while we waited. The room was small but clean & comfortable with an en suite, toiletries and tea making facilities - fine for what we needed. The area is a little run down but only a £6 taxi or 20 mins walk to the city centre so hardly matters and the house itself is nice. We couldn't stay for brek unfortunately so can't comment on that. I'd certainly recommend for short stays (though I think there are larger rooms available which might be more suitable for longer breaks).
Paul's BnB is fantastic, it is really clean and well look after and as an added plus it had a lovely breakfast.
I got the room with the kitchenette which had all that was needed to make a dinner.
On top of that Paul is really friendly communicative and very helpful when needed.
I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to stay in Cardiff.
