About This Listing
Our two bed guestroom and its bathroom open onto a corridor a bit apart from the other family bedrooms. The flat is on the ground floor, just a few steps up. It is in a quiet location, just a few minutes from the old town center, and well connected by public transport; just 1 km to the station and the Reggio Children International Center (by the way, our children have attended preschools here and we still have lots of memories to share). Parking is not an issue. And we have a couple of bikes to lend you if you want to cycle a bit around, which is the best way to discover Reggio Emilia. Breakfast is included, as well as the use of sheets and towels, shampoo, soap and shower foam. Free WiFi connection is provided, as well as a computer for checking your mail and making voip calls. In the bathroom there's a (website hidden) is in the living room, which is shared with the rest of the family (we are four, but seldom all home).

Lorena's family is so great and I want to stay her home again. Home is clean , cozy and easy to go to center of the city. I totally enjoyed staying at Reggio Emilia. Grazie.
I had the best time staying with Lorena and her wonderful family. Her home itself is very spacious, welcoming, comfortable and clean. I arrived from the states early in the afternoon after having a very rough time in the airports and she graciously prepared a delicious lunch of pasta and traditional Italian delicacies. When the airline lost my luggage she was more than helpful with lending me a heavy jacket and comfortable shoes to walk around in the city. Staying here was better than a 5 star hotel! I wish I could stay here the entire two months I will be in Italy. I was very fortunate to not only forge a lasting bond with Lorena but her daughter as well! The assortment of breakfast items each morning was absolutely amazing and very generous, I ate so much the first day that I needed a nap after. You should definitely stay here! You will be treated like family!
It was a great house.
I had so nice memory at Reggio because of her family.
Lorena is a perfect host I've ever had.
I really want to stay again.
thank you Lorena!
My stay in Reggio had the adeed dimension of an amazing italian hospitality by Lorena and her family. The location of the house is a perfect distance from the historical centre as well as the International Centre Loris Malaguzzi and the train and bus station! They let me use their bike which was fantastic! Reggio is a very bike friendly city! The breakfast was beautiful, the room spacious, bathroom spotless and everything left me with a feeling of being at home away from home! A lot of attention to detail and a level of communication that is superb! I would very highly recommend this accommodation and would love to be back!
About the Host, Lorena
We are a family of 4. My husband and I work for an Italian non profit organization, and the two kids are at the university, one for fine arts and the other engineering. We like travelling, and getting to know different people, places and cultures. Hosting is in a sense very much like travelling, and this is why we like it.
