Green Street leads onto Main Street where the bank and post office is and at the other end leads down onto the harbour. The beautiful St. Marys church is on Green Street and right beside it is the Diseart (old convent and nuns garden). There are many beautiful and interesting shops on Green Street, weavers, jewellers, great art galleries and even a fairy shop. It is a busy street and at night gets very very busy so if you want to get an early night it might not be the best location for you!
Of course the best way to see Ireland is to hire a car...public transport is a bit slow however it can be very enjoyable and I use it quite abit myself. The bus stop is only a 10 minute walk up hill.
This is an old house so expect some wear and tear. There are wooden floor boards, old windows, not double glazed!
Paula was able to get three of us in very last minute. The room was clean and comfortable as advertised. The location is ideally located in the middle of Dingle town. Paula had some excellent recommendations for food and sites in the area.
Hello- we really enjoyed our stay with Paula in Dingle. Her place is a historic row house in the centre of Dingle- the location couldn't be better. The house itself is very charming and full of eclectic 'objets d'art' that gives this place lots of personality. Paula made us feel very welcome, and we highly recommend this airbnb in Dingle.
