With streaming light and soaring ceilings, this renovation of an antebellum church features a stunning collection of eclectic items. Sit on the hanging chair near intriguing artwork, notice the bold feature walls, and relax in the sunny courtyard.

The space
Visit the Holy Goat Guest House and get a taste of historic Louisville architecture and artifacts. This soulful renovation of a 175-year old building contains four private suites. It features inspired design touches and hospitalities that will make you feel at home and like nowhere you've ever been at the same time.

The amazing location of The Holy Goat has you just a stone's throw from some of NuLu’s favorited spots: Nouvelle, Garage Bar, Galaxie, Feast, Royal's, and NuLu Marketplace, just to name a few. Enjoy a tour of Rabbit Hole or Angel’s Envy Bourbon, or a craft beer at Goodwood or West6 Breweries, all located just around the corner. Leave room for a scoop of smoked bourbon pecan at Louisville Cream and time for shopping at Revelry. You'll be walking distance to Slugger Field and within 2 miles to downtown Louisville.

No parties or large gatherings- only registered guests after 10PM quiet hours

Guest access
Guests will have access to their private suites, as well as the beautifully maintained courtyard, which is perfect for meditation, working outdoors, or enjoying a cocktail.

You'll enjoy the full kitchen with an Italian Technogas range, Subzero fridge, and GE dishwasher. There's room for up to 14 to dine. There are three separate lounge areas, and an additional kitchenette for your convenience. There is a projector with an Apple TV that creates a big screen for movie nights.

This home can be setup to accommodate children quite well. Please let us know if you will be traveling with children and what their ages are, and we will leave the appropriate toys and crafts available for you. Additionally, let us know if you would like to use our Lotus travel crib or a highchair, and we will make those available. Because of the mezzanine stairs, it may be a challenge to stay here with a child who is able to crawl/walk but not safely navigate stairs (usually 1-2-year-olds). Otherwise this is a very family friendly zone!

If you prefer to have the two twin beds pushed together to accommodate a couple rather than two singles, we are happy to do that for you. Please just let us know ahead of time.

Please note that one of the bedrooms is on a mezzanine which is open to the floor below, so that room only has a stairway separating it from the main living space and no door, but sleeping under the beautiful exposed beams makes up for any lack of privacy in our opinion.

Other things to note
This is a two-story building, and this home is located on the upper level. As this is a historic building in a bustling neighborhood, you might hear noise from the guests downstairs, or from the alley alongside the building. For your comfort, you will find ear plugs in your room. Because guests will likely be staying downstairs we also ask that you walk softly on the floors (no shoes recommended) and have quiet times before 10am and after 10pm.
