  • This apartment was the perfect location from which to discover Istanbul. It was very clean and tastefully decorated and there was more than enough space for the entire group. The owner and manager were very friendly and helpful. All in all, it was a great place to stay!

  • The Topkapı Room is not just an apartment but more likely a hotel room. Location is superb. In front of Ferry terminal so I could go to Asian side of Istanbul easy. Also the fish market and terrace seating restaurants are there. The room itself is in white theme, nice and clean, all the luxury hotel style amenities are available. Nükhet is kind and sweet, she arranged my taxi for returning to the airport after check-out. If you like lively local atmosphere, this is the place for you.

  • A perfect location to see the sites but not so perfect if you want a quiet location. The fish market is straight outside your window, the ferry terminal is just beyond the fish market, and the bars under the bridge are a stone throw away. However, if you are able to keep your windows shut and keep the air conditioning on then it doesn't affect you. It was very clean and a nice size room. The shower was a little broken but we never went to ask for it to be fixed, and I'm sure if we had they would have fixed it because they were very willing to help.
Overall a good central location with very friendly and helpful hosts.
    Thank you!

  • The apartment was very well kept, clean and spacious. There were some things that we didn't know prior to our arrival, however: due to its central location and placement directly above restaurants it was nearly impossible to sleep before 3 am. There was constant music, and almost no insulation.

There was also a very noticeable stagnant water smell in one of the bathrooms.

The cleaning fee was also a bit high. Overall, clean, nice apartment, but the outside factors really detracted from ambiance.

  • Great house, great view, perfect location, friendly staf. Absolute must if you are with a group.

  • 7 of us stayed in the Sultanahmet Apartment earlier this month and had a wonderful time. Nukhet greeted us on the first day and gave us a tour of the space, fresh towels in hand. She had even turned on the radiators in anticipation of our arrival! Knowing that the dining room only held 6 chairs, Nukhet came by later our first night with a 7th chair, which was very kind and thoughtful of her.

The apartment is very clean with a lot of natural light. We all agreed that the view from the apartment might be the best in the city, as the living room looks out onto the Golden Horn, the Galata bridge, and the many local fishermen out for their daily catch. There is also a wonderful restaurant right outside the apartment building where we sat and drank delicious Turkish tea and Efes, the local beer.

The apartment is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the tram, the Tunel, and a short walk across the bridge to the Spice Market. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure in the showers was perfect with even some soap and shampoo ready for us to use. Nukhet even helped arrange a laundry service for us. Even though we sent out our clothes the morning of our departure, the clothes came back in time for our 4 pm flight.

    Overall, great apartment, great location!

  • I spent a week with my family in Sultanahmet Apartment on February. It was a overall great stay.
The location is awesome, a few meters from Galata bridge, and from a funicular that takes you to Beyoglu (Istiklal street) and from a tram that takes you to the old city where most of the historical monuments are.
The neighborhood, however, is not very nice, and the building stays in a shady area. We didn't feel safe coming home late at night, and the building is not easily accesible to taxis. There is a fish market right in front of the building and many fishermen stores around. So if you're looking for glamour tha's probably now the best option.
The apartment is beautiful, very spacious and comfortable, the bedrooms are huge, the closets are big, the bathrooms are well equiped, good shower, towels and hair dryer. The view is incredible.
However, the kitchen is very small and there was a strange smell, we had to keep the door closed at all times.
I would reccomend this apartment and would stay there again next time in Istanbul.
