Wonderful casale (country house) in a fascinating tuscany area. Very close to the ancient and very famous Benedictine Abbey in Asciano (Siena). The house has a very big room at the entrance with a huge fire place perfect for a great BBQ. Then you have a large kitchen room and a regular room, that you can use for supplementary beds or other. Along the aisle you'll find three large bed rooms: in the first one there is a double bed; the same in the next; in the third room you have two single bed room. You can have two supplementary single beds. There two bath rooms; a very equipped kitchen and a washing-machine.
The floors are in the typical ancient "cot to senese" and You'll find wood roof in all rooms. The house has been built in the XVIII century.
The casale is in the heart of "crete senesi", with a very unique panorama. Just 15 miles from Siena; 7 miles from Montalcino and the very very famous Brunello vineyard area. One hour from Florence and two hours from Rome. One hour from Perugia and one hour and half from Assisi.
All around you can find food opportunities, ancient wellness center (terme di Rapolano), small villages all made in the ancient way, extraordinary experience for bikers and for jogging. All around there are wonderful hills with cypresses as you best expect in Siena area. For dinner there are a to of small restaurants (trattorie) with traditional and delicious food. You can experience the Benedectine products (from wine to famous olive oil; from
beauty product to medicinal herbs). Going around is a good experience to look at farmer products and hand craft products.
I think a perfect stay far from the crowd, looking for something really impressive.
I live in Rome and I like to spend many wends in Tuscany at the house you see in my profile. When i stay in Tuscany I like bike, jogging, visit small villages where I found a lot of wonderful food. Sometimes I like to spend some time at wellness center in Rapolano, very close to the house.
My job is in the tourism field as consultant, so I know many cities and travel a lot. The atmosphere in Tuscany is very special so I come back everytime I can.
