"Dragon's Knoll" is one of seven unique homes that make up "Treehouses of Serenity". We are located 10 mins north of downtown Asheville nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Each property has expansive windows in order to take in the mountain/sunset views and a full bathroom.

Please note, we love our pups but have a strict no-pet policy. Also, prior to booking, please read/understand the Airbnb strict cancelation policy.

The space
We understand that life happens. As a small business, we hope that you understand our need to maintain a consistent cancellation policy. We recommend purchasing trip insurance that covers expenses from last-minute cancellations of lodging and transportation due to theft, medical, etc. Travel Guard is an affordable option to ensure you’re covered in the event of the unexpected. Also, we do have wildlife on the property, in the extremely rare occasion that damage occurs to your personal vehicle, we are not responsible.

90% of this home is built into the earth. The front of the home opens up with a large glass door looking out on a breathtaking layered mountain view. The 800 sq ft home features many unique designs and decorative touches, including two handmade round doors! There is one bedroom with a queen bed, a full bathroom with a sink, toilet, and a walk-in shower. The large living area includes a queen-size murphy bed, kitchenette, farm-style table, gas fireplace, TV (Netflix, YouTubeTV), wifi and many games for the family. Also, kick back in the outdoor space around the fire pit and take in a magical sunset!

In the kitchen, we provide caffeinated coffee, tea, creamers for coffee, honey, sugar, salt and pepper, olive oil, and light snacks along with cookware, flatware, utensils, cutting boards, cookware, wine and beer openers, coffee cups, wine glasses, water glasses, and beer glasses in the freezer. Our tap water is some of the best in North Carolina; we also provide a couple of bottled waters with the snacks. There is not a vent for the electric cooktop located under the cabinet (there is NO stove), so we ask that you cook lightly. There is an electric grill to cook meat, etc. Ingles, Trader Joe’s Harris Teeter, and Fresh Market grocery stores are located nearby.

You will feel worlds away, but are only 10 short minutes from downtown Asheville!
