Gorgeous apartment in a +100yrs old building that still belongs to family. Giovanni's reception can be expressed in one way only: it was like visiting an old friend :)
Fridge filled with fresh fruit, yogurts, milk, water, beer and chilled wine :) There was also bread, cereals and other condiments waiting.
Place decorated with personal touch featuring art and collectibles. Windows and balcony with views to a romantic private garden with very old tall trees.
Giovanni was very helpful and welcoming. It was a pleasure to meet his wife and children, and only wish we've stayed longer to get to know them little better.
Giovanni also helped us plan further our road trip suggesting nice beaches to visit.
If traveling by car (like us) there is private parking. Short walk to metro station (only 4 stops away from Duomo). Framer's market, grocery store, cafes and cozy restaurants within steps away.
If we ever visit Milan again, Giovanni's place will be definitely our first choice :)
The appartment is really good located and is really comfortable but luca isnt really there when you arrive (it happened to us and a couple hours later to some french people that were also staying there), theres wifi but it doesnt work at all
Luca's apartment was in a good location. Opposite the Roman Forum which was a 15min walk around to get to the Colosseum. We walked everywhere from here. Metro wasn't overly close but plenty of buses around and an enjoyable walk along the river into the main part of the city. Apartment was clean and tidy and we were met by Luca's mother who explained everything really well. Good size apartment as per photos, shower was a little smaller than what we were used to but perfectly fine. Bed was two singles together which we found crept apart. No issues with wifi (usually only 2 devices would connect at once) and good aircon (we were there in the middle of summer. We had a great stay and would return.
Nice apartment. Very small but clean and in a great location. Was no problem for me and my two daughters as we basically just slept there because we were out all day exploring. Would recommend.
Luca's place was very central and perfect for what we needed. The space is small but well organized. We were able to walk anywhere we wanted and the street is just beautiful. Our flight left late in the evening so it was very helpful that we were able to leave our bags in the storage room all day. If you're looking for somewhere central, clean tidy, and don't need much room then I definitely recommend this place! Grazie Luca!
This apartment was an excellent choice for our stay in Rome. It was ideally situated near the Roman Forum, and the space was used extremely thoughtfully. We were continually commenting that every time we were looking for something in the apartment, we found it! Absolutely recommended.
