Luca was such a great host! Our flights were delayed and still managed to greet us at late hours! Such a lovely place and so clean and well put together. I will have to say many thanks to Carolina who was able to pick us so late in the evening from airport. They are both accommodating due to travel changes outside our reach. Highly recommend Luca's lovely apartment and his friend Carolina for rides to/from airport. Couldn't think both of them enough. Another note is that they are so quick to respond via email/text and that was a huge plus for us since our flights were cancelled and delayed many times !
Luca's wife met us at the water bus stop and walked us to the flat, which after traveling all morning makes you feel welcome and cared for. The flat is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Pictures don't capture how lovely it really is. We took a nap when we arrived(after being allowed to check in early)with the windows open listening to the sounds of Venice. Priceless. Flat is "far ish" from sights, about 30 mins of leisurely walking to piazza San Marco. However, being a little removed from the touristy part of town allowed us to see a beautiful side of this wonderful destination. Such as markets and pastry shops where the owners speak mostly(only) Italian! Overall a genuinely unforgettable experience.

Awesome little clean apartment in perfect central location in front of the Forum, maximally equipped with everything needed – the art of organizing things within a limited space. The major Rome tourist attractions and museums are within walking distance. Great air conditioning was a relief on 35 degrees outside. Luca is very nice and intelligent host, be sure to follow his restaurants guide – it's delicious!
