Marc's studio is a great place to stay in Berlin.
The studio is nice and comfy.
Well located in Prenzlauer Berg, the studio is close to a tram station (and Alexander Platz hub).
Communication and check in was easy; Marc providing all required details in advance.
We stayed for 3 nights. Lovely modern apartment located perfectly to see Berlin! Very secure as you need a key to get through the main front door of the building and then go through a nice courtyard to reach your actual apartment where you need another key. Very secure and located 2 minutes walk from a reasonably priced 24 hour supermarket. Lovely city as well. We arrived early and buzzed Peter who let us in and came down to greet us. He was most helpful and gave us directions to all of the sites and places to visit. We purchased the Berlin 5 day welcome card to get us from the airport to the city and back. Excellent value for money as we used public transport constantly. It is great to know that you can just jump on a bus, tram or train and not have to worry about your ticket.
Location is amazing. Very close to tram station. The neighbourhood is very safe. The apartment is well decorated. We were very well served by Marc's assistant Peter. We highly recommend anyone visiting Berlin to stay here.
Peter was very helpful in transitioning us from our larger apartment to this one in the same building. we requested a new set of keys and had one minor maintenance issue and both were attended to promptly.
La casa está muy bien ubicada, muy limpia, le faltan algunos elementos de cocina, pero está muy bien. Nos atendió Peter, vecino de Mark. Fue muy amable, nos explicó todo con su poco inglés.
We enjoyed our stay and the apartment is in a lovely neighbourhood with lots of amenities, and is close to trams.
Peter greeted us and was very helpful in terms of informing us of local amenities.
The apartment was very comfortable and quiet(apart from a terrific thunder storm one night!).
I had travelled to Berlin by motorcycle, and was kindly allowed to leave it within the shared courtyard during our weeks stay.
The apartment was adequately equipped, and we were able to cater for ourselves when we felt like it,but eating out locally was so easy and inexpensive.
Megan arrived from Tegel airport, which was an easy 40 minute tram/bus journey from the apartment.
It goes without saying that Berlin is such a relaxed and fun city, that has so much to offer (even beaches within easy reach when the weather gets hot).
We would definitely recommend staying at Marc's apartment.
Great studio. Good communication with host. The wifi was a little intermittent. The area was just as described, plenty of cafés nearby with good local transport.
