La casa está muy bien ubicada, muy limpia, le faltan algunos elementos de cocina, pero está muy bien. Nos atendió Peter, vecino de Mark. Fue muy amable, nos explicó todo con su poco inglés.
We enjoyed our stay and the apartment is in a lovely neighbourhood with lots of amenities, and is close to trams.
Peter greeted us and was very helpful in terms of informing us of local amenities.
The apartment was very comfortable and quiet(apart from a terrific thunder storm one night!).
I had travelled to Berlin by motorcycle, and was kindly allowed to leave it within the shared courtyard during our weeks stay.
The apartment was adequately equipped, and we were able to cater for ourselves when we felt like it,but eating out locally was so easy and inexpensive.
Megan arrived from Tegel airport, which was an easy 40 minute tram/bus journey from the apartment.
It goes without saying that Berlin is such a relaxed and fun city, that has so much to offer (even beaches within easy reach when the weather gets hot).
We would definitely recommend staying at Marc's apartment.
Great studio. Good communication with host. The wifi was a little intermittent. The area was just as described, plenty of cafés nearby with good local transport.
We stayed in the apartment for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. It's in a nice part of Berlin and a quick tram ride from Alexanderplatz where you can then get anywhere in Berlin on public transport quickly.
The heated floor in the bathroom was great and the apartment had everything we needed. Key exchange was easy with Peter meeting us when we arrived. Would definitely stay again!
Our first airbnb experience, And we loved it. A wonderful apartment for our short stay in Berlin, perfect for a couple and in a handy location. Basic kitchen facilities although we didn't cook. Great places nearby for morning coffee and for dinner, a supermarket also nearby. It is a 10 minute walk to Alexanderplatz where we could easily access the train etc.
Very nice apartment with comfy bed and everything we needed. We really liked the lovely neighborhood with its nice restaurants, coffee bars and shops. Communication was a bit difficult as we didnt receive any response on our messages. Luckily we were able to make a direct reservarion. Peter, a friend of Marc? welcomed us and answered all our questions.
This is a great little place to stay when exploring Berlin. In a very quiet block which feels very secure, with lots of little restaurants and shops nearby. There's also a tram stop 1 minute walk away, which is just 3 stops to Alexandraplatz (main centre). The photos do the place justice and yes, it's a small studio, but very well finished, with everything you could need and very cosy and comfortable. Check in was seamless - we were allowed to leave our bags as we arrived early, and could then explore the city, which was a nice touch. The only trouble we had on our first evening was being able to open the door to the apartment, but the caretaker came downstairs to show us how to turn the key correctly, which was reassuring (we didn't even have to call - he just appeared)! The only thing I would say is that it's not really ideal for cooking (very small kitchen) although I'm sure you could cook if you wanted to. It wasn't really a problem for us as there are so many cheap restaurants around. A great stay, thank you so much! I would definitely advise heading to the restaurants around Worther Street and Kollwitzplatz - really great variety!
