Very nice apartment with comfy bed and everything we needed. We really liked the lovely neighborhood with its nice restaurants, coffee bars and shops. Communication was a bit difficult as we didnt receive any response on our messages. Luckily we were able to make a direct reservarion. Peter, a friend of Marc? welcomed us and answered all our questions.
This is a great little place to stay when exploring Berlin. In a very quiet block which feels very secure, with lots of little restaurants and shops nearby. There's also a tram stop 1 minute walk away, which is just 3 stops to Alexandraplatz (main centre). The photos do the place justice and yes, it's a small studio, but very well finished, with everything you could need and very cosy and comfortable. Check in was seamless - we were allowed to leave our bags as we arrived early, and could then explore the city, which was a nice touch. The only trouble we had on our first evening was being able to open the door to the apartment, but the caretaker came downstairs to show us how to turn the key correctly, which was reassuring (we didn't even have to call - he just appeared)! The only thing I would say is that it's not really ideal for cooking (very small kitchen) although I'm sure you could cook if you wanted to. It wasn't really a problem for us as there are so many cheap restaurants around. A great stay, thank you so much! I would definitely advise heading to the restaurants around Worther Street and Kollwitzplatz - really great variety!
Marc's help Peter was standing at the door at my arrival, showed me the nice appartment and gave some tips about Berlin.
The apartment is not big but cosy and well equiped and faces an inner, sunny courtyard, so it's a quiet place.
Prenzlauerberg is a nice, bit alternative neighbourhood.
There are plenty restaurants nearby and a supermarket at 150 meters.
To go to Alexander Platz just take the tram M4 (5 min ride).
The listing is very accurate. It is small but contains all that one needs for a short stay . The best thing about the studio is the location. we walked to everything in Berlin and did not need any other transportation.
