Giant 3 Story Central London Loft

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Dufferin St, London, EC1Y 8PD, United Kingdom

The Space

Hello, this is a very, very special and unique place to have an amazing experience of London!

It is a tasteful loft conversion of an old copper factory with shipyard floors and old brick walls downstairs, a minstrel gallery upstairs (the bedroom area) and a roof terrace with skyline views in all four directions, from the BT tower to the city. The bathroom has a shower and a bath and there is a fully equipped kitchen with modern dishes etc. and all amenities. There is wireless hi speed internet and cable TV.

It's central location is sandwiched between Clerckenwell, Old St, Barbican, Shoreditch and Liverpool St in one of the most sought out areas of london; 3 mins from the Barbican which has theatre, dance, films, a library etc., 3 mins from Old St roundabout and 10 mins to Soho.

There are many shops, cafe's deli's galleries, markets and restaurants immediately nearby as well as lots of clubs and bars in the area, although the street is very quiet and residential. It is also about 10 mins walk to the river near the Tate modern and the Southbank.

There are massive windows throughout giving tons of light. the back of the loft looks onto a large open courtyard with a centuries old tree.

There is a fitness centre across the way and yoga centers (inc. Bikram) within a short walking distance.

This is a home, so please only those with love and respect for theirs they carry with them.

Thank you!

  • The place is just as amazing as the pictures show. The hosts were super flexible about arrival times, and really great to communicate with throughout. They even helped me upstairs with my huge bag. The apartment was extremely clean, well looked after and felt very homely. This is the best place I've stayed on airbnb so far, it's truly lovely. I just wish I lived there! I would recommend to everyone. There wasn't a single thing I'd improve! Perfect stay, perfect hosts!

    It was clean, smell good.
Reets met us when we arrived. We asked to save our luggage till the flight in the evening and they were happy to help.
Thanks for a great and relaxing stay

  • Me and my wife had perfect experience renting this loft. It is the same as you can see on pics. Plenty of cafes, pubs and barber shops are close to this loft. It is fabulous spot to chill in or just stay and go. Nat thnx for your hospitality.

  • This lovely loft apartment in London is a great base, with wonderful light streaming through the windows the apartment is in a great spot close to trains, buses, supermarkets, cafe all that you would want. Even with two pubs bookending the street its a quite enough apartment to rest after a day of adventure. Nate was easy to communicate with and arranged for a friend to meet us on our arrival. Thanks Nate we had a great stay.

  • This place is super funky. Spacious, light, and with a cool vibe. Right in heart of eclectic Shoreditch, this is a great location, with cool pubs, bars, restaurants all within walking distance. At the end of the street is a really great daily food market where you can eat your way through endless cuisines. The loft has a massive living area, a great and spacious bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and a big sleeping area. We were a family of three so the upstairs bedroom was fine for all of us without feeling on top of each other. Great experience, fabulous space and an area of London where you can feel like a local. Would def stay here again

  • My 11-year-old daughter and I couldn't have been happier at Nate's place -- it was exactly as advertised and lived up to every expectation. I found Nate to be extremely conscientious and his tips on neighborhood eats and a nearby boat festival the weekend we stayed were super. It's a quiet street and a gem of a loft -- just a very cool place. We definitely look forward to staying again, thank you Nate!

About
My parents planned on having five boys so they could field a basketball team, having three in a row while living in Taiwan was plenty. We were raised less as a basketball team and more as a construction crew. I've not been able to escape that and now find myself building in both the most traditional and cutting edge methods. I am a fuel cell engineer, I've built a home in LA and in France from a crumbling old farm. We're compelled to share our spaces as they are there to be enjoyed and guests and friends have always made some of the most important contributions. We speak English, we cook, knit, read, apprentice gardener, and my mortise and tenon joints are not bad. The homes are tidy and pretty quiet, we've done a lot of messy work to make our home and now revel in our projects being finished.
