Such a nice place to stay! We really loved it like everything was prepared with so much love. The cabin was very comfortable and big enough for the three of us. We would have loved staying longer than just two nights. The breakfast was the best! Freshly layed eggs from the chickens that have given you company all the time during your stay. Although we had a little car accident we had really enyojed our vacation there.
We didn't actually meet Fiona and Edwin, but they arranged to have a friend attending to us our whole stay. The cottage is lovely and matches the pictures , the bed is very comfortable and breakfast is good. The place is easy to find with the given instructions. Thanks Fiona, Edwin and David.
What a fantastic cabin! So very peaceful and comfortable. I couldve dlept in the gisnt beanbsg chair! Great location so close to great places snd hikes. Wish the weather had been better so I could have tried out the hammock in the yard and seen all the stars! Missed getting to meet Fiona and Edwin but enjoyed meeting their delightful friend Karolina who took great care of me!
Fiona and Edwin are lovely people and take good care of us. We booked the place for the weekend and had come to enjoy our stay in their cottage very much! The place is unique and surrounded by a beautiful scenery of farms and mountains. We'd love to go back there again some time! It is definitely a quick way to retreat yourself for the weekend, especially if you are looking for a place not too far from Dublin.
Edwin greeted us warmly when we arrived a little late after our plane was delayed. He showed us our beautiful and spacious cabin which had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable. In the morning we were presented with a basket of goodies, including freshly laid eggs, from which to prepare our own breakfast in the little kitchenette hut next to our cabin. This was delicious. I would definitely stay here again, particularly because Edwin was so friendly and helpful.
Great host, great place, beautiful surroundings en early morning breakfast in the scenic graden. Edwin, you made us feel welcome and we enjoyed your comoany. Thanks voor the restaurant tip and helping us out with the transport!
We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean, relaxing and very comfortable. Edwin was very welcoming and had a nice breakfast packed for us the next morning even though we had to leave so early. The town of Rathdrum is just a couple minutes drive. It is cute and we had a great meal at Bates in town. I would definitely stay again if we were in the area!

About the Host, Fiona & Edwin
We love country living, growing vegetables, keeping poultry, wandering in the great outdoors. We also love to share the beauty that surrounds us. As well as English, Ed speaks fluent German and Dutch and some Spanish. Fiona speaks limited French, with a deceptively good accent!!!
