This was a fantastic place to stay - a spacious comfortable cabin with large windows emphasizing your closeness to nature. Our alarm clock call was bird song. The organic breakfast was more than generous and the host Edwin very welcoming. This accomodation made our stay in Wicklow even more memorable and I would highly recommend it.
Fiona and Edwin were very charming and kind hosts, I really had everything I needed. I even could try the courgettes from the polytunnel! :) The cabin is clean and cosy and just as in the pictures. What was really amazing was the fact that there is a forest only a 10 min walk away that has beautiful walks and a beautiful river. It is really all you need for a nature getaway only 1,25 hours away from Dublin.
Quiet place in a nice combination with farm animals - hens and ducks. Amazing house to stay with great view and no other houses in sight. It is an idealist place for a full relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. Still, if you do not feel like cooking, there is a close by good restaurant to visit.
Beautiful cabin!! Edwin and Fiona were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast the next morning was presented so lovely and the fresh eggs were an extra treat. We will definitely be back again!
My husband and I had such a lovely stay in Fiona and Edwin's Delightful log cabin in Wicklow! they were SO welcoming and friendly to us! We arrived at 7am on our flight to Ireland and checked in at 3pm dying to catch some rest and that is what we got! We went to bed at 3pm and didn't wake up till 10am in the morning! It was so quiet and peaceful the whole night! It's a lovely atmosphere made to help you relax! The bed was very nice and we woke to a lovely breakfast of bread, jams, tomatoes, cheese, orange juice, cereal, and bananas! I would not hesitate at all to recommend anyone to stay here! What a lovely expirience! Thank you for your hospitality and for a perfect first night in Ireland!

About the Host, Fiona & Edwin
We love country living, growing vegetables, keeping poultry, wandering in the great outdoors. We also love to share the beauty that surrounds us. As well as English, Ed speaks fluent German and Dutch and some Spanish. Fiona speaks limited French, with a deceptively good accent!!!
