Fiona & Edwin's home is lovely and serene and we were very lucky to spend a few days there. The breakfasts were fresh and delicious, and a joy to prepare and eat in the kitchenette. The surrounding Wicklow area is beautiful and we definitely weren't short of things to do locally: notably an amazing wild-food foraging walk. Fiona was very helpful in recommending us a great local walk and she kindly gave us a lift to the start. The chickens were a delight to be around, and I quite envy them for being able to potter around in that lovely garden everyday!
We loved our stay at Edwin and Fionas Cabin in the country! The cabin was amazing, decorated nicely, cosy and very clean! Edwin was very lovely to chat to and he brought us a perfect breakfast with fresh eggs from their own hens in the morning. We really enjoyed watching the chickens and ducks wandering around and we felt so relaxed after our stay. What a perfect little spot you have! Thanks so much for having us.
Fiona and Edwin welcomed us warmly and showed us everything. The wooden house was exactly as described! Very cozy and with funny chicken in the garden :). In the morning we got a nice breakfast with fresh eggs! We could eat outside in the warm sun and could watch Fiona and Edwin preparing a new wooden cabin. They made the fotos and showed us their new project. It was fun! Thank you very much!
Best wishes Silke and Guido
This place is fantastic. Fiona & Edwin have built a comfortable and stylish log cabin within a stones throw from Avondale House. They've really spent a lot of time making this a refuge from the hustle and bustle. You'll love the massive bean bag and the chooks knocking about.
The log cabin was just perfect , a great space in beautiful county wicklow for a peaceful retreat . Hens and ducks parading in the garden , plenty of light and nearby Avondale house for a great forest walk . Hosts Edwin and Fiona took care of us and it was topped by a breakfast in the sun eating fresh eggs . All in all a delightful experience which we would recommend to other guests
