Villa Dewisita was built in 2001 and consists of a large seafront villa with a large swimming pool.
There are 3 bedrooms of which 2 with an ensuite bathrooms. A large living area with an open kitchen and guest toilet.
The villa is built on a big terrain together with 4 other villa's. Each house has their own pool and full privacy. The area is guarded 24 hours per day.
There is staff available every day to clean the villa, terrace and pool. Breakfast and laundry service is also available.
Bali, the famed Island of the Gods, with its varied landscape of hills and mountains, rugged coastlines and sandy beaches, lush rice terraces and barren volcanic hillsides all providing a picturesque backdrop to its colourful, deeply spiritual and unique culture, stakes a serious claim to be paradise on earth.
Bali's Hindu culture and history is both extraordinary and unique. Many visitors get so wrapped up in shopping, partying and beach life to miss the opportunity to understand and absorb at least some of this. You cannot fail to see temples, come across ceremonies and witness daily offerings, and those who take the time and effort to understand what is going on around them will find their visit very rewarding.
We stayed for 4 days in this amazing house. We stayed with two couples and the house had plenty of room and privacy for us. The location by the sea is great, pool with the gazebo is great and the (airconditioned) bedrooms with private bathrooms where also very nice. We do think the house could use some maintenance but this is hardly noticeable and was not degrading our experience. The employees of the villapark where very helpful and not to pushy on added services. Can definitely advise this accommodation to anyone going to Bali.
The villa is located in a great location and it's got a magnificent view!
The villa itself is not in a very good condition though the value of it is quite adequate the condition. It's got a great pool, but that was the only thing in house that was great.
Villa really has quite big problems with electricity, but you can live with it, you just have to know which switches better not use otherwise you can be left without air conditioning during night. Also, you can feel how old is the furniture and equipment, for example, kitchen was smelly and old. The owner really should have some improvements, it would make the stay more comfortable.
The staff actually wasn’t that great, they were quite lazy and obtrusive. We wanted to have calm morning’s catching some sun and doing whatever we want, but the staff always rushed just when we came out of the house to talk with us or “work” in the garden. We felt disturbed and got more of a feeling that they just want to see what we are doing. Also, don’t trust every local, that has a friend that can drive you somewhere or get a boat for you. Better talk to those people on the street, you will see the car and clearly agree on the price. And always inquire the details of your day trip!
Eating in Candidasa is ok, you have lots of places with different price levels to choose from. Other services are also quite cheap compared to other places in Bali. We liked the massage ladies that came to our house, they offered for 7$ one hour massage.
Overall we liked the stay in villa, but I hope the owner will improve the place, it would be unfortunate if the place would only go down.
We have stayed 4 nights at the villa. It was wonderful, looked exactly like on the photos. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The villa on top condition and very clean. We also like the village Candidasa, the cooking club in the restaurant rendezvous. Would definitely go back there.
Its a lovely villa, with excellent views. The staff are amazing, too. We had a restful time.
We had a wonderful time at the villa! It is beautiful, lots of space with 3 large bedrooms and the living room. The pool and patio area is a wonderful place to relax. The villa is a short walk from many of the restaurants in Candidasa. Everyone was very helpful on our arrival and helped us organize transportation etc. if we needed it. We would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something quiet, relaxed, and away from the crowds of Kuta/Legian.
Choki's house is gorgeous, the views are stunning, the pool is lovely, the gardens are manicured and beautiful, the staff are cheerful and friendly, there are excellent quality restaurants just a few minutes walk away.
The spacious high ceilinged living room looks out over the infinity pool and beyond that directly out to sea. Its a breathtaking view framed by a couple of mature palm trees. When lying on the bed in the master bedroom, you also look out over the pool to the sea, the house has been well designed to maximise the wonderful view.
There's plenty of restaurant choices nearby, but our favourites were Vincents (sit in the garden out back) and Rendez Vous which is right on the sea. Both are about a 5 min walk away. There are also a couple of little supermarkets close by.
There's no beach directly out front, although the beach starts about a minutes walk away to the left. You can snorkel around the old coral right out front, and within 20 meters from the sea wall you can be surrounded by tropical fish. Its shallow too, so safe for kids.
There was always hot water and power, there's no wifi in the house but there was unlocked wifi next door which we used with no problems. The staff did not ask for a tip (although i did give them a small one when we left).
Candidasa is a sleepy beach village, its a strip of restaurants, little shops, villas, temples and a few low-rise hotels. There's no loud music anywhere, I'd recommend this spot for people wanting to relax rather than party.
Thoroughly recommended, i'd love to go back one day.
The photos are not lying, this villa is as beautiful as the pictures suggest. However, we were overall disappointed with the area (Candidasa). The town does not have much to offer, it definitely has seen better days. Apparently there were white sand beaches here a few decades ago, before they blasted the coral to use for building materials. Now, you can't even walk along the shoreline, there is nowhere to go. It is quite depressing, actually. The villa itself was nice, however, it smelled a bit mildewy and the hot water did not work. There is no Wifi in the place, we had to go to the villa next door, or to the neighbouring hotel to use it. (The hotel is a great place for breakfast, by the way). The staff at the villa were friendly enough although we did not have much interaction with them. We were a little surprised when we left, we offered the pool boy a tip which we thought quite generous for 3 days (100,000 Rupi) and the same tip to the cleaning staff and he wanted more (he said there were 2 cleaning ladies and a gardener as well). Also, it got tiresome after a while, so many men would approach us at the villa asking if we needed help with a "program" for the day (ie. boating, etc.)
We had a couple of meals at a restaurant in town called "Vincent's" which were very good. We had a ABYSMAL dinner at a place called (something) 49. If you're looking for a guide to set up programs, we met a waiter at Vincent's named Taliman. He and his brother, Made, were wonderful: Very good English and a great sense of humour. Made took us snorkelling, and then to a beach called "White sand beach" for a delicious lunch. He also took us on a bicycle tour which was nice, but too pricey. Before the tour, he took us to a gorgeous water temple, I forget the name, but it was breathtaking!
When you arrive at the villa, be prepared for a small surcharge the staff will ask you for. They will also ask for your passports to make copies of.
Amazing villa with amazing views! I have spent there 3 days with my family and we did not want to move anywhere from that house!
It looks exactly as on the photo and there are some coral reefs immediately near the shore.
Sometimes the light went away and we had not wifi during our stay, but the friendly stuff gave us access to the neighbouring villa and this was solved.
Would recommend everyone to stay there!
Great place. Super pool, that substituted missing beach.Very nice staff. Would definitely come back. One thing that I would not do is to go to " white sand beach that everyone offers- boat ride is nice but beach is small strip of superhot sand. Take a fishing trip or car tour instead.
This place is just perfect!! We were there with our baby (10 months) and I can surely say, it's a perfect place for a crawling baby as well - a lot of space in and outside the house, enough stuff for baby cooking in the kitchen - everything there. And one more - the house keeping staff are such friendly, lovely girls and boys, they did some baby sitting so we went out for dinner without baby few times and went for snorchling together... We loved it! All Balinese people are crazy for kids, but these guys they just loved our boy... And our boy loved them :)
Wakling distance to the village and the best nasi goreng in the same street :) Advice for families with small kids - the next big super market you can also get veggies we are used to in Europe is in Amlapura (which is 20 Min by car) and is called Hardy's.
Highly recommended place!!!
