Interaction with Guests
As I don`t live in Salzburg I am not always able to wait for my guests at the apartment or meet them. Therefore I send them detailed instructions how to access the keys and informations about the apartment. My neighbour on the ground floor left door, Mariana, who speaks perfect English, takes care of my guests and my apartments when I am not there.

Other Things to Note
If there are no guests leaving the day you arrive you can check in any time, otherwise the apartment will be ready around 13 o`clock but if you arrive earlier you can bring your luggage after 10 and go for a walk until the apartment is ready.
On the day you leave I need the apartment at 10 o`clock for final cleaning if there are guests coming that day, otherwise at 12.
Please make no noise after 22 o`clock.
Please don`t walk with your street shoes inside the apartment, there are slippers in all sizes waiting for you.
If you are traveling with a dog (at most one) you can bring him if you can guarantee that he will make no damage and that you won`t leave him alone in the apartment.
Ruth's apartment is large and spacious place that comfortably accommodated our party of four adults. Each room had a comfortable bed and the bathroom was large with a lovely shower. The location is a quiet area that was an easy 20 minute walk to the old city and attractions. I found Ruth to be exceptionally flexible and very understanding of a last-minute request. If you are looking for a large place for a family or group of adults travelling together, then look no further.
We didn't meet Ruth, but she explained everything we had to know. The place was very comfortable and clean and it was really close to the old city center. We had a little problem with wifi but we solved it quickly.
We really enjoyed staying in apartment!
Everything as explained. And it was explained very well.
I loved the apartment, felt like home, in a very quiet neighbourhood.
This was my first AirBnB ever. The apartment was beautiful, and close to the bus stop to get into Old Salzburg. Ruth sent me instructions on how to get into the building and the apartment but I didn't realize they were on a different e-mail account. When a neighbor let me use their phone she was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay there again!
A well-equiped and spacious oasis in the midst of 6 weeks of travel; it was so good to be able to spread out. Although Ruth wasn't in Salzburg when we visited, all of the arrangements that she made worked well and we were able to access the key and the unit without any difficulty. Her neighbour was on-hand to answer any questions, and she was very helpful. The unit is not in the centre of Salzburg, and although there are buses nearby, we drove our hire car the few km into the city centre on each occasion AND managed to find a parking place each time.
We spent an enjoyable three nights in Ruth's apartment. The apartment is spacious and was well appointed for our self catered stay.
Ruth is a very good host and was very easy to communicate with. She answered the phone immediately when we called on arrival and also had her neighbour help us as soon as we reported some wifi issues.
It was great to be able to park our car on site which had not always been our experience.
Thank you Ruth.

Hi, I'm Ruth
I have been living in the beautiful Pinzgauer Alps since 1973 , in a little village called Gries, 90 kilometers south of Salzburg. Before I lived in Viena-Austria, Sao Paulo- Brasil ,Chicago- USA and Tel Aviv-Israel..
I have a wonderful 26 year old son who studies Philosophy in Vienna.
My hobbies: I adore travelling, photography, gardening, reading, classical music and meeting interesting people . My favorite travel destinations are the far East (so far I have been in China-Yunnan province, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapure, Indonesia (Bali), Malaysia), Sri Lanka, Maledive Islands, South America (so far only Brasil and Venezuela but I plan to visit Peru, Bolivia and Chile this year). I have also been to Central America (so far Mexico, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic), Africa (Kenia, Egypt, Marocco, Tunisia), USA, and Europe (Norway, Holland, Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, Poland, CSSR, Germany, Hungary, Croatia, Greece etc.)
I am new on Airbnb and I love this site. I find it so nice, that every host adds a picture and description of himself, and also that every potential guest adds a photo and tells something about himself. It makes it so familiar. It is so different from all other booking sites. It will be the first place where I look for a room or apartment when I travel next.
I have been renting holiday apartments in Salzburg for about 8 years and truly enjoy the contact with my guests, although unfortunately I am not always able to meet them personally. In case I can't, I send them instructions how to access the keys and informations about the apartments, and if I am travelling, there is a neighbour who speaks perfect English and who takes care of my apartments and my guests while I am not there.
