Secluded oasis just five miles west of Mallow on the N72, sharing private secure parking and two acres of landscaped gardens with Ashfield House. Has its own patio area and a walkway from the gardens to the River Blackwater.
Self contained self-catering with fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room with stove,and large bedroom with king size and single beds and en-suite shower room. South facing patio and large landscaped gardens.Rental includes towels, bed linens and bathrobes. Suits max. three sharing. for the winter stay, there are electric blankets on the beds to ensure that you will always be cosy, regardless of the winter weather!
Comes with wireless broadband and Sky TV.
Private, secure free parking and use of gardens. Shared walkway from gardens to the riverbank.
Interaction with Guests
A map of the local town is provided to all guests on arrival and we are always happy and available to help with guide books, directions and local information. We like to meet our guests on arrival to show them around, answer any questions they may have and ensure that they know how everything works! And of course we are on hand any given day to help if needed.
Centrally located for touring the South or for the quiet peaceful break in the countryside while just five miles from Mallow town and 35 miles from Killarney. Beautiful views available from the south facing garden. Just 3 miles from Mallow Racecourse.
Own transport is advisable. Good public transport available from Mallow town to all urban areas.
Other Things to Note
weekly bookings from May to September.
Minimum 3 night stay off season from October to April inclusive, rental off season from 220 euro per week and for shorter term stays is 50 euro per (website hidden) available for long term stays off-season.
A damage deposit of 100 euro is payable on check in and repayable on the morning of departure.
Check in is usually between 4pm and 7pm but is totally flexible and can be adjusted to suit the itinerary of our guests.
From May 2 - Sep 26, 2015 the minimum stay is 7 nights.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ashfield House. Eileen was a good host and we felt comfortable staying there. We had everything we needed in the appartment and it was perfect for our purposes as we travelled alot and had a nice place to come back to at night.

Eileen was the best host we could wish for and she made our stay unforgettable! Eileen is a very talkactive and warmhearted person which made us feel very welcome. She gave us loads of advices for our trip and helped us with maps and recommendations! The house is very cosy and perfectly equipped. We enjoyed the beautiful garden, the weather was fantastic... the whole property is a perfect place to relax! We really enjoyed our stay at Eileens lovely house!!!

Love organic food, eating out and travelling to interesting places. Haven't travelled for a few years but hope to get to Brazil in the next twelve months.
An animal lover, I have miniature schnauzers whom I have learnt to obey over the years.Love gardening and enjoy the wildlife at the river ( have a walkway from the garden to the riverbank!).
Favourite book is 'To Kill a Mocking bird', favourite movie is Dr. Zhivago.
