  • Good room in lovely location.Excellent ferry links to Central Sydney. Julie provided simple breakfast and good local knowledge. Mosman is a lovely spot with excellent pubs and places to eat .If you just want a beach to relax on Balmoral beach, a quick bus trip or 10 minute walk is lovely. A great place for your Sydney adventure

  • Julie is friendly and welcomes guests into her lovely home. She is a health conscious person due to her former career as a naturopath. She is interested in meeting people and travel, going to movies and writers festivals. Her home is a renovated house with a balcony overlooking the harbour, located close to public transport and shops in Mosman. Kathy

    Response from Julie:

I am so sorry about the wifi Kathy. That zero is often mistaken for an O and I did forget to tell you that.
However, I was so happy to have taken the time to show you how to use the stove and where the main things are kept in the kitchen so you could cook your dinner as well as showing you all the usual things...bedroom, bathroom, TV room. My having to leave a little earlier than planned was a nuisance. My apologies.

  • My stay in Sydney with Julie was absolutely wonderful. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. I arrived to fresh cake, tea, and beautiful music playing. Julie is a warm and hospitable host, and helped me make the most of my stay. She made sure I was ok finding my way around, gave me fantastic suggestions for what to do and where to eat, and even gave me rides to the ferry. Mosman is a delightful part of Sydney and it was convenient to get everywhere else via Sydney's extensive public transport.

  • Julie was a lovely host, very helpful and nothing was to much trouble, the room was very comfortable and clean. It was a great location and it felt like a home away from home as Julie made you feel very welcome and invited in her house.

  • Julie is a most welcoming and helpful host. Her home is warm and comfortable, with a wonderful view over one of the bays. There was lots of space and the bedroom was very comfortable. We found that getting into town was a breeze using bus and ferry which saved having to drive and find parking downtown. We recommend Julie and her home to anyone wishing to have a very pleasant stay in Sydney.

  • I enjoyed my weekend at Julie's house. My room was private and spacious, the bed was very comfortable and I was made very welcome. I believe the earlier comment about CCTV camera's is untrue and simply a misunderstanding about the front courtyards light motion detector.

Julie's home is in a beautiful part of Sydney and I enjoyed a good long walk through the harbour park followed by a ferry ride to Circular Quay to have dinner in the city.

  • Julie is a warmly and sincerely host and she was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and tip for sightseeing all around Sydney.

We spent several days in both rooms (1 week in February and 2 days in April) and in one room was something 'like a'(!) camera.

But it is a movement detector for an alarm and warning device and we think it is also for the security of personal belongings for all of the guests in her house.

We felt us every day very safe and welcome and we enjoyed the conversation with Julie on her beautiful balcony with nice views to the Balmoral Bay.

Many thanks for bringing us and all of our luggage to the airport on a very hot day in Sydney !!!

  • I booked stay at Julies for my mum and sister who came to Sydney on their 3 week holiday in Oz. The location is unbeatable for those who want to feel like local and not just like tourists. Various bush walks, short stroll to Balmoral beach , just around the corner from cafes and shops .Easy bus connection to city to explore highlights of Sydney.
Room is spacious with all available to your use, kitchen and patio with water view to enjoy lazy mornings with breakfast provided. The house is settled in leafy street in safe and one of most prestigious suburbs .
Julie provided everything for pleasant stay , local expert , happy to answer all questions and to be there for you . House is secured and light sensors will light up your way back to ,home away from home, after returning at night after long day exploring . The movement sensors are not CCTV ! Just information for those not so hi-tech savy. You will be feeling welcomed at Julies and refreshed and relaxed when leaving. My mum and sister will be definitely staying at Julies again when they return to Sydney. And I would recommend you do too....
