Interaction with Guests

Every guest has different levels of comfort or desire for interaction. We are delighted when guests are more interactive and we can go into full host mode, including tour guide and history buff. But we also honor privacy and know some people prefer minimal conversation . It is your trip and we want it to be as pleasant as possible.

We are literally within walking distance to downtown Austin and the Convention Center. Also to the University of Texas campus, Huston-Tillotson University, major museums including the Bob Bullock Texas History Museum (with IMAX), Blanton Art Museum, and the LBJ Presidential Library. For Texas history buffs, two historic cemeteries are within walking distance, including the State Cemetery, with many notable graves, such as Albert Sydney Johnston , Audie Murphy and Stephen Austin.
