Interaction with Guests
We can arrange to share dinner together if you're around. We love sharing about Boston and will give you a map, and we love hearing stories about your adventures from afar. (We're also fine just passing each other infrequently if you're on a schedule, and we're often busy).
We've been doing this for a few years now and have loved getting to meet people in town for international travel, work in hospitals and theater, visiting friends and family, and more!
Outdoor space on our back porch and in the woods (big park around the corner), very quiet for the city, shady streets, food options and close to public transportation. The larger grocery stores are a bit farther walk. One of the best pastry shops is just two blocks away, with coffee, breads, sandwiches and more in addition to breakfast. Has the neighborhood feel of Boston but close to downtown via the subway, and our neighbors are warm-hearted and quiet.
On-street parking and less than 10 min walk to the subway (Green St., Orange Line), which will take you downtown in less than 20 min.
We have a map of the neighborhood drawn that we will give you copies of when you arrive! We have local suggestions off the tourist path to delight your taste buds and walking/viewing pleasure.
Communicate about timing using the kitchen for major cooking (and in case we can share).
