We were warmly greeted on arrival by Sheila and Thomas who took time to give us relevant information on local areas of special interest to us. They gave us helpful guidance re house practicalities and by providing us with a bottle of wine, firing and assorted consumible items conveyed clearly to us that we were their welcome guests.
The house was spotless and well-appointed reflecting very accurately its listed description. It provided a level of convenience and a standard of comfort which was altogether satisfactory — a veritable home from home.
The property is located in a friendly neighbourhood and affords easy access to safe parking. We found our close proximity to the Oraganico café quite useful. The house is within reasonable walking distance to the town centre which has a number of good restaurants. Bantry proved to be a convenient base from which to explore the many tourist attractions of West Cork.
Thomas and Sheila met us at the house and welcomed us warmly despite our arriving dripping wet form a day's ride in the rain. They showed us the ins and outs of the house, a complete house guide and additional tourist information pamphlets were also provided. Thomas followed up to ensure all was well with our stay, much appreciated. The house is as described and all of our needs were met. All amenities were within a 5 to 10 minute walk, the location is ideal for touring the southern regions of Cork and Kerry counties. A quiet and comfortable setting, a nice place to stay.
Thank you, Thomas and Sheila, we truly enjoyed our visit.

Our hosts made us very welcome, and had left very useful basic groceries, and a bottle of welcome wine.
We had a slight problem with opening the front door and Thomas came around immediatly and sorted everything.
The house was well fitted out, and had guidebooks and information about the locality. Wi fi worked well.
The location is excellent, just on the edge of town, about five minutes walk to the centre, and with a good small store on the corner.
